Or perhaps, with the changes I was making, things were straying from the original novel, meaning my knowledge of the novel would become less and less relevant... that aside, even if I wanted to participate, I couldn’t, staring at my pathetic legs.

"System, help," I called out inwardly, and everything faded to black and white.

I snapped out of my daze. "I need your help."

Energy gem? I watched the hologram pop up... The one item came into view, and I sighed in relief. It must have been what I swiped away earlier.
