Primeval Couple

Elfie went back to the first floor and saw the couple waiting, two pairs of eyes landed on her,

’’I have discussed with the Guildmaster and he accepted my proposal, a special Test will be held tomorrow, if you win you will be granted a special privilege.’’ Elfie declared calmly, although her voice wasn’t that loud those present heard her and the previously boisterous floor quieted down.

Some of the adventurers present thought it was unfair that this special treatment was given, but couldn’t voice out while some thought things would be interesting.

’’Okay, we will be back tomorrow.’’ Gabriel nodded at Elfie before dragging Lilith with him when he suddenly recalled something.

’’We are searching for a reasonable place to stay, any suggestion?"

Elfie thought for a moment before suggesting a good inn, Lilith mouthed something only Elfie could hear.

’’I hope they have good soundproofing.’’

How couldn’t she not understand what Lilith was hinting at? Elfie felt a headache coming so she rolled her eyes at the shameless Lilith, completely ignoring her. Lilith smiled, amused by Elfie’s response.

The couple left the guild under the other adventurers’ intense stare, the man Gabriel had previously knocked out with a single punch had woken up and was glaring at the couple, he was planning his revenge but he didn’t know that right before leaving the guild those pair of crimson eyes were looking at him as if he was already a Deadman, unaware that something had encroached upon his shadow he was busy plotting his revenge.

Following Elfie’s indication after a quick visit to a clothes store, the couple quickly found the five-story building with the moon insignia, they had arrived at the Moonlight Inn, drawing all attention as they entered and booked the best room on the top floor for a week’s meals included, they spend two and a half gold.

The room was big well furnished like a VIP room of a 3-star hotel back on earth.

The bed was truly big and could accommodate up to five persons, the bathroom was well furnished as well. Lilith went to take a bath while Gabriel sat on the plushy bed organizing his thoughts.

After taking a long bath, she was dressed in see through short negligé, gazing at her hot body Gabriel could feel desire building up in him, this body was too sinful. He escaped to the bathroom to calm down.

Looking at her man running away as if he had seen a devil, Lilith licked her lips seductively, she couldn’t wait to eat him, this time she would take his first time as he would take hers, truly perfect.

While lost in her fantasies, she felt a subtle connection to her shadow and her gaze turned frosty, her good mood had been disturbed, darkness wrapped around her and she vanished from the room, the sun was setting, and it was already evening.

Meanwhile, in an alley a few blocks from the guild, the swordsman Gabriel had knocked out with a single punch was walking into, he was about to take this shortcut to reach his destination, a tavern where truants often meet, he was about to meet a few of his thug friends, together they would plan their next move.

He kicked a trash can flying as he entered the alley dimly lit, and he was feeling really frustrated now.

’’Shit, how dare they? I will have my revenge, I’ll report to the church and have inquisitors chase them, I’ll ambush the girl with my team and violate her when she is at her lowest.’’

Just by imagining such a future, adrenaline coursed through his body until stopping in his crotch, and he licked his dry lips.

Suddenly, a voice was heard when he was half through the alley.

’’So that’s the plan?" Lilith asked languidly as she materialized right before the startled man who fell on his butt, his body began to shake as if having a seizure.

For the general audience, Fear is a fundamental, universal emotion triggered by the perception of threat or danger. It serves as a vital survival mechanism, alerting your body to respond to potential harm—whether physical, emotional, or psychological—and whether that danger is real or imagined.

But if you were to ask the man right now what fear was he would say death. Upon realizing this truth his body’s spasms increased to such a degree that his eyes began to roll back, he was so scared that he wet his pants, he was truly pathetic, the only thought inside his mind right now was the fact that he was about to die.

Lilith looked at the trembling man for a moment before her lips curved upward, she flicked her fingers to create a special space before revealing her true form, the man died right after seeing it, the shock was too extreme.

’’Pathetic!" Lilith spat before reverting to her previous form, her shadow wriggled and swallowed the man’s corpse, even in death he would never be free.

’’You will make a fine little soldier.’’ she grinned before vanishing from the alley which regained its calm as if nothing had happened.
