KEISHA’S POV
"You guys don’t want to answer?"
Dane looked at Callum. "Uh— let’s not right now. I’ll properly discuss it with Callum tomorrow."
Callum looked at me too. "Tomorrow."
"That’s not an answer—"
"Tomorrow, Keisha." He said again.
I looked at Dane but he gave me nothing either. He just reached for his jacket from the back of the chair, shrugged it on and looked at me.
"I’ll cover the rest of the rotation, take care of her." He said to Callum.
Callum nodded once.
Dane looked at me for a moment. Then he nodded, and went out of the house.
Just me and Callum.
He looked at me sitting on the bed still wrapped in the sheet and moved the chair from the corner, turned it to face me and sat in it. He leaned forward with his elbows on his knees.
I looked at him. "Are you going to tell me what’s actually going on?"
"No." He said.
"Callum—"
"Not tonight." He rubbed his face. "Tonight I want to ask you something else."
I looked at him warily. "What?"
He was quiet for a moment. "How do you feel?" He said finally. "When it’s Dane."
I stared at him. "Excuse me?"
"When it’s him with you." He said. "How do you feel?"
"I’m not answering that." I stared at him.
"Yes you are." He said.
"Callum—"
"How do you feel?" He said again, his voice patient.
I looked at the sheet in my hands. "Safe." I said finally. "Wanted. Like I don’t have to perform anything." I glanced up at him. "Happy now?"
"And when it’s me?" He urged.
I didn’t answer him for a second. Just stared at him.
"Different." I finally said.
"Different how?"
"Like something I can’t manage." I said. "Like it’s too much and I don’t have anywhere to put it and I keep—" I stopped. "I keep letting you in anyway and I don’t know why, don’t bother asking me."
He looked at me steadily. "Does it bother you?" He said. "When you’re with him and you’re thinking about me."
My face went warm. "I didn’t say that."
"You didn’t have to." He muttered.
I looked at the ceiling.
"Does it?" He pressed in the same low voice.
"Yes." I said. "Obviously yes. Is that what you wanted?"
"I want the truth." He said.
"That is the truth." I said. "You’re always there. Even when you’re not here. And I don’t know what to do with it." I looked at him. "Satisfied? When you’re here, I find myself thinking about him. It’s like I need you both."
He stood and crossed the room slowly and sat on the edge of the bed in front of me.
I had to tilt my face up to look at him and my thoughts dissolved almost immediately.
"What do you want right now?" He said quietly. "Right now. In this room. What do you actually want."
"You know what I want." I whispered.
God, he could see it in my face.
"Say it." He urged.
"Callum—"
"Say it."
I looked at his face in the low light. At the expression that looked feral.
"You." I said. "I want you and I hate how much and I want you anyway."
His hand came up slowly and curved around my jaw as his thumb traced my cheek bone. I felt the touch move through me from the point of contact all the way down.
He kissed me slowly, his tongue tangling with mine slowly.
Fuck.
He pulled back just enough to look at me. "Still want to talk?" He murmured.
"No." I said.
He laid me back against the pillows and looked down at me for a moment and something in his expression made my breath dissolve before he had even done anything.
"You think too much." He said quietly as his lips found my jaw and then, my neck. "Stop thinking."
"I can’t—" The words dissolved when his mouth moved to the curve of my shoulder, his teeth grazing the skin lightly and I shivered immediately.
"Try." He said against my skin.
I tried.
His hands moved over me slowly, taking his time with me. He wasn’t rushing. It was like he wanted to remind me of his touch. And fuck, he was doing a great job.
"Callum—"
"I know." He said. "I’ve got you."
His fingers traced down my stomach and I felt every nerve ending wake up simultaneously as my head fell back against the pillow. He found the inside of my thigh, parting through my folds and I inhaled sharply as my fingers twisted into the sheets.
"Eyes on me." He said quietly.
I looked at him, my breathing ragged.
He held my gaze as his fingers moved and I felt my hips lift off the bed involuntarily, a soft broken sound escaping me that I immediately tried to swallow.
"Don’t." He said, still looking at me. "Don’t do that."
I loosened my jaw and the next sound came out properly and his eyes went dark.
He worked me slowly and thoroughly and I thought I was about to lose my mind. I was trembling within minutes, gripping the sheets, saying his name in pieces.
"Please—" It came out wrecked. "Callum please—"
"Please what?" He asked quietly.
"You know what." I managed.
"Tell me." He said as his fingers slowed and I made a sound of protest that was deeply undignified and he almost smiled. "Tell me."
"I need you." I said. "I need you right now please—"
He moved over me immediately and I felt the warmth of him settle between my thighs.
I exhaled slowly trying to brace for it but nothing about Callum was something you could brace for properly. He pressed in slowly, inch by deliberate inch and I felt every bit of the stretch and my mouth fell open as my fingers found his back and dug in.
Fuck.
"Oh goddess—" I breathed out.
He stilled when he was fully seated and pressed his forehead to mine where he just breathed for a moment and I lay there feeling completely full and undone already.
"Okay?" He said roughly against my temple.
"Yes." I managed. "Move. Please move."
He moved.
The pace he set was slow and deep and absolutely euphoric. Each stroke dragged deliberately and hit somewhere deep that made my vision blur and my back arch and I stopped trying to be quiet entirely. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
His lips found my neck, my jaw and my mouth and I kissed him back desperately, rocking my hips up to meet him as I felt the coil in my stomach wind tighter and tighter.
"Stay with me." He said roughly against my mouth.
"I’m here." I breathed. "I’m here, I’m—"
The orgasm hit me like a train and his name was tearing out of me in a way I knew I’d be embarrassed about in the morning but couldn’t bring myself to care about right now.
He followed me over the edge moments later, his hips stuttering, a low groan against my shoulder as he spilled inside me and the warmth of it sent another aftershock rolling through my body.
We lay still afterward.
His weight was warm and heavy but I didn’t want him to move.
This felt so right. I didn’t want him to move.
He didn’t.
The room was quiet and I just stared at the ceiling, my mind racing with the after shocks of what just happened.
But even more pressing— when I would tell him and Dane about all this.
