Fang Shuwen tilted his head slightly, evading the sword. His left hand shot out as he leaned his head back, his fingers clamping onto Ye Wucheng’s wrist and twisting.

The longsword swept past Fang Shuwen’s face. A muffled grunt escaped Ye Wucheng’s lips, followed by the sound of breaking bones.

Ye Wucheng gritted his teeth, endured the intense pain, and pulsed his qi.

For a moment, Fang Shuwen almost lost his grip. ’I used too little force,’ he thought.

Fortunately, before Ye Wucheng could completely shake his hand free, Fang Shuwen channeled more strength, brutally clamped down, and said:

"Let go."

"In your dreams!!"

Ye Wucheng roared. His left hand suddenly dropped, breaking free of the palm technique’s restraint. He formed his fingers into a sword and thrust straight for Fang Shuwen’s jaw.

This was a trade of injury for injury. Ignoring Fang Shuwen’s own attack, he struck with the intent of mutual destruction.

Fang Shuwen, however, didn’t press his attack with Palm Power. Instead, he used the Plum Blossom Scattering Hand, instantly catching the two fingers and bending them outward.

This time, Ye Wucheng couldn’t help but scream in agony. The pain was just too much.

Fang Shuwen had completely broken two of his fingers. As the saying goes, the pain in the fingers goes straight to the heart. Even though Ye Wucheng prided himself on not fearing hardship or pain, he couldn’t help but scream.

But even as he screamed, his assault continued. He gathered power in his legs and struck straight between Fang Shuwen’s thighs.

This was different from a street brawl. At their level of Martial Arts, protecting one’s vitals is instinctual. It wasn’t that winning with a Groin Kick was completely impossible, but the chances were slim.

Ye Wucheng’s kick was meant to disrupt Fang Shuwen’s stance and buy himself a sliver of a chance at survival.

It had six arms and three eyes, stood over twenty feet tall, and wore a ferocious expression. A Buddha Wheel, like a halo of fire, blazed behind its head, adding to its imposing might.

Beneath this Dharma Aspect, Ye Wucheng’s Sword Qi seemed utterly insignificant.

Without any warning, Fang Shuwen suddenly lifted his foot and stomped down...

Ye Wucheng’s control over his techniques was perfect, allowing him to attack and defend at will, yet he was still caught completely off guard.

By the time he came to his senses, he realized something was terribly wrong, but it was already too late.

As Fang Shuwen’s foot fell, a sickening CRACK echoed.
