The two went to the same restaurant where they had drunk before. They ordered a pot of tea and a plate of melon seeds. Seeing no one around, Zhou Pao lowered his voice and said,

"And what do bears do in the winter?"

"Hibernate."

"I’ve been tracking that bear for years. I know exactly where it holes up for the winter."

Zhao Lin and Zhou Pao left the city and headed straight for Baitou Mountain.

Zhou Pao shook his head. "You don’t understand, brother. For guys like us who haven’t even worked a full year, we’d be lucky to get half our deposit back. But he returned the whole thing to us today."

Zhao Lin said, "Maybe Boss Bang was just in a good mood today?"

Zhou Pao shot him a sideways glance. "I doubt it. I think it was most likely because of you."
