Arthur Sterling stood on the broken balcony of the Imperial Box. His dark coat blew wildly in the chaotic winds.

The sky of the Celestial Court was slowly knitting itself back together. The jagged and rotting wound of the anti-matter tentacle breach was sealing up.

But the illusion of absolute safety was permanently gone.

The Ebon Empire was no longer the apex of reality. It was just a small and fragile asset floating in a much larger and infinitely more dangerous market.

He turned to look at the three women standing behind him.

Sylvia, Morwenna, and Aurelia were pale. Their divine auras were still rattling from the sheer incomprehensible pressure of the Outer God scout.

"I am leaving the Citadel in your hands," Arthur commanded. His voice was a low and vibrating rumble that carried absolute authority.

"Lock down the borders. Sylvia, divert all harvested Celestial Qi into the planetary shields. Morwenna, take the Vanguard and butcher anything that tries to slip through the micro-fractures in the sky. Aurelia, I want the Armada rebuilt and retrofitted with abyssal plating by the time I get back."

"You are leaving?" Sylvia gasped. Her icy facade cracked with genuine panic.

"Emperor, you saw what that thing was. The laws of our universe did not even register against it!"

"Exactly," Arthur smirked. A terrifying and manic light danced in his pitch-black eyes. "We hit the ceiling here, but the ceiling was just the floor of the next dimension. If we stay in this bubble, we die. I need new capital. I need a new battery."

Before they could protest, Arthur turned his back on them. He bent his knees as his Dimensional Breaker Physique flared to life.

He launched himself straight up. His kinetic force destroyed the pristine marble beneath his boots. He rocketed into the sky, aiming directly for the sealing cosmic tear.

A sudden sharp pulse of invisible energy erupted from Arthur’s core. It expanded outward, forming a ten-foot spherical dome around him.

Arthur let out a ragged breath as he floated in the center of the Order Field.

Floating in the boundless swirling darkness were colossal translucent spheres.

"A literal ocean of bankrupt companies," Arthur muttered. His corporate instincts immediately took over.

"It is terrifying," a small trembling voice spoke from behind him.

Arthur whipped his head around. His hand instinctively dropped to the hilt of the Ebonheart Sword.

Standing just inside the edge of his Order Field was Lyra. The Stardusk rogue was on her hands and knees, gasping for air. Her violet eyes were wide with absolute primal terror.

Her dark leather armor was smoking. The edges of it literally unraveled into chaotic dust where the void had touched her.

"What the fvck are you doing here?" Arthur snapped. His voice was incredibly cold.

"I am your Intelligence Officer," Lyra choked out. She forced herself to her feet while her legs were shaking violently. "You said to point you at your enemies and I will bleed them dry. You cannot scout an infinite ocean by yourself Emperor."

Arthur stared at her. She had used her Divine-tier stealth skills to slip into his slipstream the moment he jumped. It was a suicidal and incredibly stupid move.

If she had been caught outside his Order Field for even a second longer, her entire existence would have been erased.

But as he looked at the sheer unyielding loyalty in her terrified eyes, his anger faded. He let out a low chuckle.

"You are crazy, Lyra," Arthur said. He reached out and grabbed her, pulling her deeper into the center of the Order Field where the physical laws were most stable. "

Stay close. If you step outside this barrier, you are dead."

"Understood," Lyra whispered. She shivered as she pressed her back against his arm, using his towering indestructible frame as a physical and mental anchor.

"System," Arthur commanded. "Give me a read on our fuel efficiency."

Arthur did the math instantly. He had enough capital to survive for a few days.

He was not generating any new income out here. The 1,000,000x multiplier was currently useless because he did not have a viable target to bind. The employees back in the Ebon Empire were cut off by the dimensional barrier. Their passive points could not reach him through the Chaos Sea.

He needed a local battery. He needed to find an entity native to the Primordial Chaos, slap a Binder on it, and let the multiplier do the heavy lifting.

"Lyra," Arthur said while his eyes scanned the endless graveyard of dead multiverses. "Do your job. Cast a wide net. Find me something alive."

Lyra nodded. Her rogue instincts kicked in to override her fear. She closed her eyes and tapped into the hyper-refined spatial awareness Arthur had granted her.

Her aura expanded. It pushed carefully against the edges of the Order Field, acting as a sonar ping in the dark ocean.

As they drifted through the void, the sheer scale of the danger became apparent.

Miles away, slithering across the broken husk of a dead Bubble Realm, were massive grotesque silhouettes. They looked like deep-sea leviathans fused with centipedes. Their bodies were made of shifting corrupted starlight.

"Chaos Parasites," Lyra whispered with her eyes closed as she fed the data to Arthur. "Scavengers. They feed on the residual Order left behind in dead universes. They do not have a structured core Emperor. They are just mindless consumers."

"Trash mobs," Arthur dismissed. "No use to us. I cannot bind a mindless beast. I need something with a structured cultivation path. Something that weaves reality. Keep looking."

They navigated the graveyard for hours. Arthur manually steered the Order Field.

He glided past massive asteroids of conceptual debris and the floating petrified

corpses of ancient Gods who had tried to ascend and failed.

The silence of the void was loud. It was broken only by the hum of the system spending his hard-earned points to keep them alive.

Suddenly, Lyra gasped and her eyes flew open.

"I have got something," she breathed. She pointed a trembling finger toward a dense chaotic storm of asteroid debris in the distance.

"Is it a parasite?" Arthur asked as his muscles tensed.

"No," Lyra said and shook her head. "It is a pulse. A highly structured rhythmic thrum of refined energy. It is weak and incredibly weak, like it is being suppressed. But it is not chaos. It is Order. Someone is weaving a localized physical law out there."

Arthur’s predatory smile returned. It was sharp and lethal. A weaver of reality.

A structured core. It was exactly what he needed.

"Good girl," Arthur praised as he adjusted his dark coat. "Let us go recruit our new employee."

He surged forward and pushed the Order Field through the void. He aimed directly for the cosmic storm. The hunt had officially begun.
