With a creak, the azure gates of the Divination Commission slowly opened.

Upon seeing them, March 7th immediately asked, "Why did it take so long to open the doors...? I was about to teleport directly inside."

"Opening the Divination Commission's gates is not straightforward; apologies for keeping you waiting," Qingque explained with a gesture.

March 7th stared at Bochang, noticing his flames gradually extinguishing.

It was evident...

that he had just been engaged in battle.

"What happened... Are there still enemies within the Divination Commission?"

"Yes," replied Bochang.

At that moment, Bochang's Spider Sense began alarming him. He detected a streak of golden lightning approaching from the side and swiftly moved, effortlessly evading the attack. The bolt struck the wall instead, leaving behind a charred mark.

A voice suddenly echoed nearby as a member of Sanctus Medicus rushed to support, also an ordinary Inner Core cultivator.

Annoyed by this interruption, March 7th drew her bow and swiftly attacked the newcomer.

Realizing his ambush had failed, the Inner Core cultivator prepared to flee.

Unfortunately...

They wouldn't let him escape that easily.

"Look, Listen, Inquire... Kick!" Bailu leaped with a divine dragon-like sweep, sending a burst of purple lightning towards the Inner Core cultivator.

Bochang watched coldly from the sidelines.

Earlier, he had also attempted to capture a live Inner Core cultivator, but similarly, that one opted for suicide.

They safely reached a platform.

Ahead lay the prestigious large-scale Jade Abacus computational array—the Matrix of Prescience—of which the Divination Commission was immensely proud.

Jade Abacuses were crafted by artisans from the Xianzhou Artisanship Commission. They inscribed billions of microscopic talismans within jade crystal lattices, then embedded these into various mechanisms according to specific needs, enabling them to operate as intended by their design.

Some Jade Abacuses were small enough to fit inside bracelets or jewelry, while larger ones were integrated into arrays for predicting variables.

In essence, they functioned like CPUs.

Upon reaching this platform, one would encounter members of the Divination Commission who, upon seeing Qingque, warmly greeted her.

The Mahjong Maiden had gained some renown here.

Perhaps it was due to her attractive appearance, perhaps because she excelled at slacking off, or possibly both.

Below, Master Diviner Fu Xuan appeared troubled, his long pink hair cascading past his waist. It was elegantly styled with a hairpin, creating a visually pleasing arrangement.

Dressed in a shoulder-baring pink dress, she wore a small round mirror adorned with countless stars around her neck.

The most striking feature on Fu Xuan was the eye on her forehead, resembling a keyhole with a blue iris within.

Qingque said, "Master Diviner, although we haven't received your direct orders yet, I've brought the guests here nonetheless."

This decision by the Mahjong Maiden held deeper significance. With the Divination Commission facing trouble, Fu Xuan might not have had time to issue instructions. Therefore...

Qingque took it upon herself to bring these individuals to the Divination Commission, believing they could potentially be of help.

"Entering the Matrix of Prescience without this venerable one's permission is against regulations... However, saying so would make me seem overly strict. In fact, your arrival is quite timely." Welt Yang adjusted his black-framed glasses, showing no intention to speak.

Stelle sighed and said, "So... Kafka has escaped already?"

"Hm." Fu Xuan nodded, his gaze somewhat somber.

Bochang had initially hoped to meet Kafka face-to-face. Now it seemed that wouldn't happen.

"Could the Stellaron Hunters... be avoiding me?" Bochang muttered inwardly.

Suddenly, General Jing Yuan's holographic projection appeared within the Matrix of Prescience.

"Official Fu, I've heard everything. The Stellaron Hunters possess extraordinary capabilities and can even foresee the future. Allowing them to escape is not entirely unexpected; you needn't blame yourself."

Fu Xuan looked up at Jing Yuan as he approached steadily and asked, "What should we do now, General?"

"For now... let's first stabilize the situation at the Divination Commission," General Jing Yuan replied calmly. "As for what comes next... we'll discuss it later."
