In the end, we didn’t reach any human settlement on the day we got stranded.

However, Iferasky redeemed her reputation—or rather, showed the true worth of a beastkin—by finding us a pretty nice sleeping spot. It was a sandy area with good visibility. We couldn’t block the night wind, but we’d notice any approaching enemies right away.

Gundam characters often camp in deserts, so it’s probably fine to sleep in one (this is the limit of my knowledge when I’m not in Sage Mode).

That said, since Iferasky is a bit of an airhead, I can’t completely rule out the possibility that she just picked a random spot.

I didn’t know if the Dragon God Lucia would summon me again that night, so I tied my leg to hers using her waistcloth. Maybe she was satisfied from last night’s handjob session, because there was no summons tonight.

The next morning, I stepped away from our sleeping spot to take a leak and spotted a fortified city beyond the gentle hills. Probably about a ten-minute walk.

Apparently, we had been camping right next to a human town.

The fortified city was surrounded by thick stone walls, just like the castle towns you see in Europe. Yeah, it really felt like a proper fortress city.

Greeting strangers is nerve-wracking, but I still said hello to the gate guards. Since I wanted to get inside, I couldn’t afford to make them suspicious.

The guard had a classic medieval knight vibe—chainmail with a red surcoat over it, equipped with a sword and shield.

He suddenly pointed his sword at me.

I couldn’t come up with a legitimate reason for traveling naked. If I’d known this would happen, I should’ve had Iferasky suck me off to enter Sage Mode. I would’ve been able to think of at least one or two excuses.

Fortunately, the situation didn’t get too serious.

The other gate guard calmed his colleague down and made him sheath his sword. This one had a feather ornament on his helmet, so I figured he was higher-ranking. Let’s call him Gatekeeper A.

"You got attacked by goblins or bandits and got stripped, right?"

The reason I looked so worn out was because Iferasky had been sucking and milking me dry nonstop.

Looks like following Gatekeeper A was the right move.

Since even a shut-in like me thought he seemed like a good person, he must be genuinely kind. His chainmail coif and helmet covered most of his face, but his eyes looked gentle.

Led by Gatekeeper A, I passed through the city gate.

The city wasn’t neatly laid out in a grid. The path gradually narrowed until we reached what looked like a dead-end triangle from above.

There was no building entrance. It was a complete dead end.

Gatekeeper A leaned his sword and shield against the wall and suddenly started taking off his clothes.

Under his outer clothes appeared chainmail with a dull, sinister glint.
