After hanging up, I finished preparing a tray with steaming chicken soup, toast, and fresh orange juice. When I returned to the bedroom, Dominic was huddled under the covers, looking miserable.

"Soup’s ready," I announced gently. "Let’s pull these blankets back a bit. You need to cool down."

When I tugged the covers away, I discovered Dominic was completely naked.
