As the night deepened, Chu Mu remained awake.

His Qi Cultivation showed little progress, and the two inheritances were tantalizingly out of reach.

His focus, bit by bit, shifted to his Blade Technique.

Life at Li’s Ore Materials was extremely simple and unadorned.

During the day, he would refine Spirit Ores and study the properties of the Ore Materials. After his shift, he would wander through the Marketplace to broaden his understanding of the Cultivation Immortal Realm.

After that came his daily Qi Cultivation and the practice of his Blade Technique, which had now become his main focus.

Going several days without sleep was no issue for him.

Time slipped by quietly in this monotonous and dull "work" life.

He had already progressed nearly halfway through the Skill Level of the Refined Skill realm!

At this rate, Chu Mu estimated that by the end of the year, his Blade Technique would likely break through to a realm he had never before reached.

Being more than halfway through the Refined Skill realm manifested in reality. Beyond the superficial improvements like the Power of his Blade Technique, what Chu Mu cared about most was clearly that hint of a blade’s edge—one that originated from conviction and was rooted in his spirit!

It was very distinct, and it was growing more so as his Blade Technique progressed!

Now, Chu Mu was almost certain that when his Blade Technique reached the next realm, a change would occur that was beyond his comprehension!

And that change would undoubtedly affect his spirit.

The meaning of "grain avoidance" was, naturally, easy to understand.

The deeper a Cultivator’s Cultivation, the longer they needed to spend on their Cultivation. It was normal for them to enter seclusion for several months of arduous practice.

And because Cultivators were nourished by Spiritual Qi, their physiques were Extraordinary. Their bodily functions were countless levels beyond those of ordinary people, so naturally, their appetites were also immense!

Take Chu Mu himself, for example. It was now a common occurrence for him to eat over a hundred pounds of meat in a single meal!

For a Cultivator, mortal food could only satisfy them through sheer quantity.

The Grain Avoidance Pill from the Alchemy Inheritance was one such substitute for food rich in Spiritual Qi.

He wasn’t sure if it was due to the cost or some other reason, but over four months, the fact that the Spirit Grain Rice was different each month had allowed Chu Mu to gain a certain understanding of the properties of Spirit Grain.

This, in turn, gave him some insight into the Grain Avoidance Pill from his Alchemy Inheritance.
