POV 1: Commander Arjun Mehta – Tanzanian Bay, Warzone Ruins

The once-roaring battlefield now lay silent. Only the mechanical whir of cooling systems and the quiet wash of retreating tides remained.

Arjun stood atop his mech, helmet off, wind tugging at his sweat-matted hair. Around him, the survivors of Earth’s unified defense limped back from the frontlines. Some mechs sparked and hobbled. Others lay in twisted pieces beside the burnt-out craters of ancient coral bones.

He took a long breath.

“Green Guardians—roll call.”

One by one, names answered. Fewer than half. But they had held the line. They had stood as one.

From his HUD, a new channel blinked open.

“Commander Mehta, this is Admiral Lancaster. Prepare your unit for diplomatic retrieval. We have an emissary en route. Elven.”

Arjun’s brow furrowed. “You mean… they’re coming to talk?”

“Queen Elara herself,” Lancaster said. “A ceasefire… at least for now.”

POV 2: Queen Elara – Orbiting Moon Vessel ‘Lunathra’

The throne aboard Lunathra was forged from obsidian laced with shimmering starlight silver. It pulsed faintly under Elara’s palm.

Elven generals filled the chamber—High Elves, Lunar Priestesses, even two surviving Royal Envoys. Their voices clashed, echoing in tension.

“They sealed the Ravager,” said General Velthis, voice thick with disbelief. “Not even our best could attempt such a ritual. And yet—”

“They had help,” Elara said quietly, interrupting. Her silver eyes gleamed with cold calculation. “They had her.”

A projection shimmered beside her—Mary, suspended in her psychic sphere during the battle. Her power had not just rivaled the Ravager. It had countered it.

“She is Luna-touched,” the High Priestess whispered. “An unnatural convergence.”

Elara stood. “We’ve lost too much to keep fighting blindly. For now, we observe. We speak peace—but prepare for war.”

She turned toward the moonlight, voice like steel wrapped in silk.

“Send our emissary to Earth. Tell them we agree… to a ceasefire.”

POV 3: Mary – INS Vikrant Medical Bay

The white ceiling above her blurred as tears slid quietly down her cheek.

She hadn’t cried during the battle. Not when facing the Ravager. Not when drawing on powers that bent her very soul.

But now, as warm hands folded gently around hers, she couldn’t stop.

“Dyug…” she whispered.

He sat beside her bed, bruised and bone-weary, but alive. His long silver hair fell over his shoulders, unbraided, like when they first trained together as children of rival legacies.

“You came back to me,” he said softly. “After all that… you still returned.”

Mary tried to sit up. “I felt you, even in the storm. Your presence kept me anchored.”

“You nearly lost yourself.” His voice cracked. “When they said the containment chamber was fracturing, I thought—”

“I almost did,” she said, resting her forehead to his. “But I remembered what I fight for. Who I love.”

They sat in silence, foreheads touching, hearts syncopated.

Then Dyug whispered, “When this war ends, I want to stand before the moon, before Luna herself, and ask her blessing.”

Mary smiled. “To marry a Commoner?”

“To marry you.”

POV 4: United Earth Council – Nairobi Summit Hall

The Grand Summit Chamber was once a colonial museum. Now, under flickering blue banners, it served as the temporary council site for Earth’s unified factions.

Holographic projections hovered—data feeds from orbit, casualty tallies, recordings of the Ravager’s demise.

Admiral Lancaster, Prime Envoy Yuki Sato, and General Kofi Mensah stood before a singular, striking figure: Vaelin Thorne, the Elven envoy.

Her armor was ceremonial, not combative. Her eyes—sunset gold—spoke of things long buried beneath diplomacy.

“I come with Queen Elara’s words,” Vaelin said, offering a scroll inscribed in silver-leaf runes. “A ceasefire. Temporary, but binding. A truce between the Elven Expeditionary Forces and the Unified Earth Defense Coalition.”

Lancaster arched a brow. “What's the catch?”

Vaelin offered a thin smile. “No catch. Only time. She understands now the true threat buried on your world… and that we both nearly drowned beneath it.”

Sato spoke up. “And after the ceasefire?”

Vaelin's answer was quiet. “After? That depends… on how prepared you are for what’s coming.”

POV 5: Vaelin Thorne – Duskfall Embassy, Nairobi Perimeter

Hours later, Vaelin stood beneath the shadow of the embassy dome—formerly a human opera house. Now, it housed Elven scribes, translators, and discreet intelligence sensors.

Ghost appeared at her side. His blade was sheathed, his expression unreadable.

“You didn’t tell them the full truth,” he said.

“I told them enough,” she replied. “Let them enjoy their fragile peace.”

“You saw the vision Mary sent into the Ravager,” he continued. “Didn’t you?”

Vaelin’s voice dropped. “I saw gods older than Luna. I saw them slumbering in the Mariana Trench, beneath Antarctic ice, sealed under lunar temples… waiting.”

Ghost’s hand tightened. “And the Queen…?”

Vaelin turned away. “She prepares for war not because she desires conquest—but because she fears what Earth is waking.”

POV 6: Forestia – Royal Citadel, Inner Vaults

Queen Elara’s war council had been dismissed. Only she remained now, within the inner sanctum beneath the Citadel—where few ever stepped foot.

Before her stood the Moonstone Gate, sealed since the Age of Arrival.

Now, silver veins glowed faintly across its edges. Ancient locks clicked softly, one by one.

“The seal is weakening,” the voice behind her said. High Magister Nerathi, clad in black and lunar blue.

“The Earthlings are breaking what Luna once chained,” Elara replied. “And if the Abyssal Gods rise again…”

“Shall we call the Ascendant Armada?” Nerathi asked.

Elara stared at the gate, her voice a whisper, full of dread and power.

“No. Not yet.”

“But—”

“First, we test the Earth. We send one… more… army.”

POV 7: Deep Earth – Temple of the Third Tide

Miles beneath Earth's crust, where even gravity bends strangely and light flickers against impossible architecture, the Temple stirred.

Carvings once cold now shimmered. Seals older than writing cracked at the edges.

And something shifted in the dark.

A heartbeat… slow. Titanic. Hungry.

POV 8: Dyana – Lunar Research Archive, Secret Chamber

Dyana scrolled through the holographic records retrieved from the Vikrant’s sealed psychic log. Mary’s encounter with the Ravager had dumped terabytes of memory impressions.

She paused at a single image—sketched in the mind’s eye.

An astral throne. Empty. Surrounded by seven broken moons.

“That’s not Luna’s realm,” she murmured. “That’s… something else.”

“You’re not the only one studying ancient thrones.”

He lowered his hood.

“Someone who believes Earth is not the only one being invaded. Something is hunting the gods themselves.”

POV 9: Mary and Dyug – Cliffside Gardens, INS Vikrant Docked Port

The sun set over the bay, casting golden light over shattered coral and scorched sand.

Mary leaned against Dyug as they watched the ocean breathe. Her fingers brushed his.

“Do you think peace will last?” she asked.

“I think peace is never the end,” Dyug said. “It’s just the breath before the next scream.”

“fufufu....I’ve been through war, exile, and assassination plots. You learn pragmatism.”

She chuckled.

Then her expression turned serious. “If they come again, stronger, angrier… will we still fight together?”

Dyug kissed her knuckles. “I would fight the stars themselves for you.”

She looked into his eyes and saw only herself.

“Then let’s build something worth protecting.”

POV 10: Queen Elara – Forestia Throne Room

Before her knelt the new war champion.

A Royal-Elven hybrid. Half-born of a Lunar Priestess and an Abyssal fragment. Hair like ink under starlight. A weapon, grown in silence.

“Rise,” she commanded.

The hybrid rose, eyes glowing with abyssal fire.

“I name you Kareth, Warden of the Rift. Lead the Vengeance Host. Let the stars burn.”

As drums began to beat in the distance, and ships formed in orbit, Queen Elara turned her gaze toward Earth.

Softly, she whispered:

“Ceasefire is merely silence… before the storm.”
