Nico
The kiss grew so intense that I was completely devouring Alaric’s lips, losing myself in the friction and the heat of his mouth. I felt a warm, thick liquid stream down my forearm, and I knew without looking that it was my blood from the split skin on my wrists, but I truly didn’t care.
The metallic smell didn’t bother me. All I wanted was to claim Alaric right there against the marble sink, to consume him entirely and make him mine, but then he suddenly brought his hands up against my chest and forcefully pushed me away.
"Enough, Nico," Alaric said, his chest heaving as he panted heavily for breath. He kept one hand raised between us like a physical shield to stop me from moving closer to him again.
I tried to step back into his personal space, my eyes fixed on his mouth, but he reached out and firmly grabbed my hand, cutting off my advance. "I know you are completely insane," he muttered, his voice sharp with exasperation, "but there is no way in hell I am letting you bleed to death because of a kiss."
I grinned wickedly at him, a genuine wave of satisfaction washing over me because he was paying such close attention to my condition. "So you do care?" I asked, winking at him playfully.
He gave me a look of pure disgust and rolled his eyes toward the ceiling. "I don’t care about you. You can die if you want to, but absolutely not on my watch. Maybe you should save the dying for when I am not around, because seriously right now..." He grabbed me tightly by the wrist and yanked me back toward the sink, turning the faucet back on with a quick jerk of his hand. "I need to make sure nothing happens to you, because the media headlines will be an absolute disaster if you die in my presence."
"I am completely hard right now," I blurted out, utterly indifferent to his lecture or the running water. "Right now, I just want to bury my cock deep inside your trembling, wet hole," I muttered in a low, sultry tone, leaning my weight forward against him until my chest brushed his, my hand dropping down behind him to firmly grab a handful of his butt.
Alaric’s eyes met mine instantly. He glared hard at me, his hazel eyes flashing with irritation, but I didn’t care about his anger because all I could focus on was how swollen and flushed his lips looked from the way I had just bitten them.
For a long moment, he didn’t say a word. The only sound in the entire room was the loud rushing of the tap water against the porcelain. Then, a slow, dangerous grin spread across his face.
"How about I bury my fist into your face instead?"
"Oh, pain before pleasure," I teased, winking even harder at him as I leaned up and pressed a soft, lingering kiss right against his sensitive earlobe. "You love the kinky stuff, don’t you? What do you say?"
He rolled his eyes so hard I thought they might get stuck, and then he pushed me back with a grunt. He grabbed my dripping hands, pulled them away from the sink, and started aggressively dragging me out of the bathroom toward the main bedroom area. "You are completely out of your mind. I don’t understand how you can make ridiculous jokes at a time like this."
I shrugged my shoulders carelessly as he pushed me along. "I just love teasing you."
"Well, I hope you enjoy doing it now, because this is the last time I will deal with this."
"You said that the exact last time we were together, too," I continued, keeping the smirk on my face until he let out a loud, defeated groan.
"You are a massive pain in the ass, Nico."
I burst out laughing, the sound echoing loudly in the spacious bedroom. "As long as it’s your ass we’re talking about..." My words were abruptly cut off as he shoved me hard onto the edge of the mattress, pointing a sharp, warning finger directly at my face.
"Stop talking. Where is the first-aid kit? Tell me right now."
I pointed toward the lower cabinet near the wardrobe, and Alaric said absolutely nothing as he marched over and grabbed the plastic container. He came right back, sat down heavily beside me on the bed, and placed the kit right between us on the sheets. "Give me your hand," he demanded, his tone completely flat.
"Sassy," I replied, my smirk intact as I stretched my bleeding hand out toward him.
He rolled his eyes again, ignoring the comment entirely. He popped the container open and immediately began applying the antiseptic liquid with a heavy cotton pad. At one point, he intentionally pressed down much harder than necessary on the deepest part of the slash, clearly trying to make me suffer a bit as a punishment for my behavior. But I didn’t even blink. I kept my face entirely still, my eyes locked directly onto his face, watching him work without a single flinch.
He looked up, a bit startled by my lack of reaction. "You seriously don’t feel physical pain, do you?"
I smiled slowly, and then, just to satisfy his curiosity and give him what he wanted, I closed my eyes and let out a dramatic, fake wince, pretending to hiss through my teeth.
Alaric let out a low chuckle at the obvious acting, looking away as he finished patching up the skin on my wrist with a neat layer of medical tape.
Once the hands were done, his gaze shifted upward, settling on my throat. "Were you truly going to slit your throat out there?" he asked quietly, his voice dropping as he took a fresh alcohol wipe to clean the small, superficial nick on the side of my neck.
As he moved in closer to get a better look at the cut, his entire body hovered over mine. I felt the warm, rhythmic brush of his breath directly against my collarbone, and the sensation sent a violent shiver straight down my spine, hitting my groin with such force that my cock throbbed painfully, expanding against the fabric of my trousers until I could feel a heavy, slick wave of pre-cum leaking through, soaking into my underwear.
My heart began to pound like a drum against my ribs as his cool fingers brushed the skin of my neck, sending electric tingles all over my body.
Suddenly, our eyes met again. For the longest, most suffocating second, we just stared at each other in total silence.
Alaric froze for a beat, but then he quickly looked away, pretending to focus intensely on the skin of my neck, though I didn’t miss the sharp way his throat gulped as he swallowed hard.
"So..." He cleared his throat roughly, his fingers trembling slightly as he peeled open a small plaster to cover the scratch. "I asked you a question, Nico. Are you actually going to answer it, or should I start demanding our usual twenty questions right now?"
I shifted my weight on the mattress, reaching up to place my hand firmly over his. "If you want to ask me something that serious, Alaric, then please look at me instead of looking away."
Alaric didn’t look up at first, keeping his eyes glued to the bandage, until I slid my fingers down to his chin, gently gripping his jawline and forcing his face up so he had no choice but to look at me. His hazel eyes shifted under my gaze, and for a fleeting moment, I saw a flash of genuine softness and affection hidden in the depths of his pupils. Maybe it was just the alcohol tricking my brain, but I could have sworn it was real.
"I really meant it when I said it," I told him, my voice dropping all the teasing, turning completely raw. "I would slit my throat if you ever left me."
