It felt as though the entire world was spinning, tearing, and reforming around him.

By the time his vision refocused, the deafening roar he had just begun got stuck in his throat—he realized he was in a completely unfamiliar place.

It was an ancient and foreboding ring-shaped coliseum.

Tiered, empty spectator seats loomed above him like a cold forest of stone steps, enclosing a blood-stained arena in the center.

High above, the dark crimson sky hung low, like congealed blood, exuding a suffocating sense of oppression.

The air was scorching and dry, thick with the stench of blood and rusted metal, filling his nostrils.

For a fully grown dragon, the space was far too cramped—nowhere near enough to soar freely.

Almost the instant Golsas’ form stabilized, powerful figures appeared all around the coliseum like phantoms, surrounding him on all sides.

Killing intent, tangible and chilling, wrapped around him from every direction like chains.

Suppressing the fury that nearly burst from his chest, Golsas quickly swept his reddish-brown eyes across the scene, taking in every figure.

The Molten Iron King stood atop the opposite high platform, his body packed with bulging muscle.

Though smaller in size compared to Golsas, the overwhelming dragon might he radiated was sharp as a drawn blade—equal to Golsas in presence, utterly unyielding.

On one edge of the stands, the iron dragon Laeticia crouched low.

The long-held tension in her eyes had finally been replaced with a hint of release—and the determined look of someone ready to go down fighting.

The red dragon Samantha, clad in heavy alchemical armor, was the third-largest dragon present. Her thick tail pounded the metallic floor with a dull, war drum-like thud, already fully primed for battle.

Nearby, the iron dragon Sorog’s metallic scales gleamed coldly. His gaze was as sharp as ice, one claw slightly raised, poised for combat.

From the auras of these two dragons, Golsas sensed the same bloodline as the Molten Iron King.

No doubt—they were his descendants.

And now, they had surrounded him, baring their fangs and claws.

Across the arena, the golden dragon Alberto’s body gleamed with majestic golden scales, flowing with sacred oath runes that shimmered across his form, emanating divine energy.

Further away, the non-draconic powerhouses had also taken formation.

The Amethyst Dragon-Lion roared with soul-shaking force, its body shimmering with flickering amethyst shards that pulsed with its surging emotions. The Holy Spirit Deer’s antlers radiated a soft, pure glow—sacred and scorching with purifying power. The Phoenix was cloaked in inextinguishable flames, each elegant flap of its wings showering the sky in dazzling fire. The Flower Lord Charles gripped his blade inscribed with the character for “Drought.” The sword edge trembled slightly, sending out fine ripples in space, as if ready to slice through dimensions at any moment.

A total of nine formidable beings.

Aside from Galros at the center, the remaining eight were far from weak.

Many among them had fought the Molten Iron King in his normal state to a standstill.

A few of them, even Galros at full power would struggle to defeat quickly.

Now, all of their wills and strength pointed to one single target—

—the red dragon tyrant at the center of the arena: Golsas!

Yet, despite being surrounded and alone, there was no trace of fear in Golsas' eyes. Instead, an even more intense battle frenzy ignited within them.

“You bastards! Insects! You think this broken cage can trap the great Golsas?!”

He let out a thunderous roar, his voice echoing through the coliseum.

“No! I’m not the one who’s trapped—you are! You’re the ones who have to face me in this cramped space! Prepare for the flames! Prepare for death! Prepare for the wrath of the great Golsas!”

“You're all going to die!”

Before his words even finished, with a loud boom, his massive body turned into a blood-red hurricane of violence.

Surprisingly, he didn’t choose what seemed like the weakest group—the non-dragons—as his breakthrough point.

Instead, he charged straight at the one he considered the mastermind behind all of this: the Molten Iron King!

And at that exact moment—

Several dragons around Galros let out deafening roars and charged in unison to intercept him.

“I’ll tear you apart first, you ungrateful brat!!”

Golsas’ massive claw tore through the air with terrifying pressure, aiming straight for Galros’ head.

At the same time, his thick, long tail whipped out like a giant iron lash, screaming through the air as it swept viciously toward Laeticia and Samantha, who were rushing in to support—forcing them onto the defensive.

Facing this brutal, blazing assault full of fury, the red-iron dragon didn’t retreat in the slightest.

He let out a deep roar filled with fighting spirit, surged forward instead of back, his wings flaring fiercely and kicking up a wave of scorching heat as his massive claws met the strike head-on.

BOOM!!

The two claws collided violently!

It was like two metal mountains crashing together with savage force!

Blinding sparks sprayed like a waterfall of falling stars, and the shockwave exploded out in a perfect circle. Even the ground beneath them groaned under the pressure, cracking with countless fractures in an instant.

This time, the red-iron dragon clearly felt a far more overwhelming and brutal force surge through his arm.

His claw was forcefully pushed back—overpowered!

His pupils contracted.

The immense power he had always relied on had, for the first time in front of a fellow dragon, been utterly crushed by a purer, more primal strength.

BOOM!

Golsas’ other claw seized the opportunity and slammed directly into the red-iron dragon’s chest!

With a sickening crack and a shower of shattered scales, Galros’ huge body was launched backward like it had been hurled by a catapult.

Almost simultaneously, his blood-colored tail whipped through the air and brutally struck both Laeticia and Samantha.

Laeticia’s shoulder visibly caved in, and Samantha’s heavy alchemical armor was torn open with a shocking gash.

Golsas roared triumphantly, ready to press his advantage and possibly finish off the Molten Iron King in one decisive blow.

But just then—like a violent storm—attacks from the other powerhouses arrived.

The real siege had begun.

Boom!

Oath Empowerment – Sacred Flame Breath!

A golden torrent, refined like molten metal, burst from Alberto's gaping jaws — a sacred breath weapon, empowered by divine skills. It shot forward like a pillar of destruction, striking precisely at Golsas’ exposed flank.

Psionic Amplification – Sleep Breath!

Knowing that a typical electric-fire breath would have little effect on a red dragon, Sorog swiftly adjusted his tactics. His breath carried powerful psychic waves, rolling out like invisible tides aimed to corrode Golsas’ mind and will.

Mindshock Burst!

The Amethyst Dragon-Lion roared silently, its psionic scream solidifying into soundwaves that bypassed physical defenses, drilling directly into Golsas’ mind, trying to disrupt his concentration and destabilize him mentally.

Phoenix Bombing Run!

The Undying Phoenix let out a clear, lethal cry. With a flap of her wings, hundreds of vivid fire clones took shape, each infused with volatile energy. They swarmed Golsas from every angle.

Dimensional Blade!

Without warning, the Flower Lord Charles appeared behind Golsas’ neck. His cross-shaped sword glowed with razor-sharp spatial energy. In total silence, the blade struck toward one of the red dragon’s few weak spots — the base of the skull.

And yet, the Holy Spirit Deer, resisting the urge to attack, remembered Galros’ instructions from before the battle.

It gracefully tilted its head, and healing light gathered at the tip of its antlers — beams of soft radiance precisely targeted the wounded Laeticia, Samantha, and Galros, rapidly mending their injuries.

Surrounded by this onslaught, Golsas displayed a terrifying level of reaction speed and defensive might.

The Mindshock Burst, which once caused Galros to slow down, seemed to have zero effect on him. Not even a moment’s hesitation was forced.

Whoosh!

His massive wings flapped with astonishing speed and precision — far beyond what one might expect from such a huge body. Inside the tight confines of the arena, he twisted and weaved with perfect control, fully showcasing a red dragon’s mastery over its own physique.

He first dodged Alberto’s Sacred Flame Breath — by far the deadliest threat.

Then, astonishingly, he completely ignored Sorog’s psionically-enhanced sleep breath. It didn’t affect him at all.

Spinning suddenly, Golsas slammed a claw at the irritating Charles, who was trying to sneak up behind him like a flea.

Charles didn’t dare take the hit — that claw could crush mountains.

He aborted his killing strike and activated Spatial Stride, his form blurring and vanishing just in time.

BOOM BOOM BOOM!

Meanwhile, the Phoenix’s flame illusions crashed directly into Golsas’ back and sides, unleashing a series of massive explosions.

His blood-red scales held firm under the bombardment, though the impacts did cause screeching scrapes and searing pops as energy clashed with his defenses. Hairline cracks formed, but overall, he remained unharmed.

As for the raging inferno itself — it didn’t even hurt him.

It was as if he was merely enjoying a fiery bath.

“Weak! Pathetic! You think this can kill me?!"

Amid the blaze, Golsas reared up and laughed, his voice manic and thunderous.

“Hahaha—huh?!”

The laughter halted suddenly, his voice twisted into a shocked grunt.

A golden blur, wrapped in wild arcs of lightning, slammed into him like a thunder hammer — far too fast to see.

It was Galros.

He had stabilized his relatively minor injuries with the Holy Spirit Deer’s healing and immediately activated Battle High State.

His surging power crashed into the red dragon tyrant like a meteor, flinging him straight into the rocky walls at the edge of the coliseum, shattering stone and kicking up clouds of dust.

Zzzzt! Zzzzt!

The Molten Iron King’s already massive frame swelled further under his enraged state.

Golden lightning arced wildly across his body, radiating raw, terrifying energy.

With a guttural roar, he charged the just-recovered Golsas once more.

“Die!!”

Furious, Golsas beat his wings, shattering the stones around him, and launched back with blazing fury.

CRASH!

Their claws collided again — but this time, Galros didn’t budge.

Empowered by Battle High State, the red-iron dragon met Golsas’ overwhelming might and held his ground.

His claws, wings, and massive tail — every limb he could weaponize — turned into a storm of attacks, battering Golsas from every direction.

But Golsas didn’t back down either. He unleashed all the brute strength and fury red dragons were known for, clashing head-on.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

Their collisions echoed like rolling thunder through the coliseum.

Magma-like sparks erupted from their bodies, raining down like deadly fire.

Their battle was so intense, so fast, and so ferocious that even the other attackers struggled to keep up.

Long-range attacks risked hitting allies, so the others — Alberto, Laeticia, and the beastkin — chose to close in, surrounding Golsas in a chaotic, deadly melee centered around Galros.

“Pests! You’re all just scratching me!”

Golsas roared, shrugging off attacks from all directions with his monstrous defenses, repeatedly trying to break through to Galros.

It wasn’t the smartest strategy.

But Golsas wasn’t thinking rationally — all he wanted was to rip the red-iron dragon to pieces.

Galros, meanwhile, wasn’t lacking in raw stats anymore. With Battle High active, his power and speed matched Golsas’.

He blocked, countered, and retaliated with equal savagery.

Whenever their claws clashed — molten iron vs. blood-red steel — the air shook with screeching metal and flying sparks.

The others couldn’t hurt Golsas fatally, but they wore him down, drained his energy, and pushed his already short temper to its breaking point.

After another brutal exchange, Golsas staggered—only for his back to erupt in pain.

Alberto’s claw, gripping a massive Conquest Halberd, slammed down with full force, tearing through his scales and leaving a deep, bleeding gash.

Snarling, Golsas’ eyes locked onto the golden dragon — only to have his back sink again.

Magic Burst! Mana Surge!

Laeticia’s claw, condensed with spinning arcane energy, landed a heavy strike that shredded more of Golsas’ armor-like hide.

As he struggled to stay upright, a golden blur rushed him again!

Galros’ claw, now wrapped in roaring lightning and raw dragonforce, struck his head with earth-shattering power.

CRACK!

A tooth shot from Golsas’ mouth as his skull twisted violently. Dizziness hit him hard.

Before he could recover, the Amethyst Lion bit down, the Phoenix pecked with fire-hardened talons — blow after blow rained down on his unbalanced form.

Wounds started to pile up on his once-proud frame.

He looked like a lion being torn at by a pack of wolves — not dead yet, but bleeding and humiliated.

The fury boiled beneath his scales, finally reaching a breaking point.

“Enough!!”

“You filthy worms... you’ve pissed me off for the last time!!”

“You want to die faster? I’ll grant your wish!!”

His roar cracked with hoarse fury.

The humiliation, the injuries, the betrayal by his own blood — all of it ignited the bonfire of his rage.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

His scales scraped together violently, making a sound like a thousand blades being drawn at once.

His body visibly swelled. Muscles bulged like hills, his already massive form growing even more oppressive.

His eyes, once tinged red, were now completely covered in bloodshot veins, twisted and terrifying.

For a dragon that worshiped raw power and destruction, anger wasn’t a weakness.

It was the source of his might.

Driven by rage and disgrace, Golsas finally activated his true combat form—

Rage Mode!

The angrier he got, the stronger he became.

Destroy everything!

DESTROY IT ALL!

ROAAAARRR!!!

A roar of unbridled wrath burst from his throat — louder than anything before, a shockwave that physically slammed into everyone in the arena.

Galros, closest of all, bore the brunt.

The moment he heard that roar, it felt like his spirit had been thrown into a furnace of pure fury.

It seared at his mind, trying to break his sanity.

“This is... a Rage Roar?! But so strong...”

Galros was stunned.

He knew what Wild Dragon skills looked like — but this wasn’t normal.

No standard Rage Roar could override reason like this. This one had clearly been enhanced by some terrifying mutation.

Gritting his teeth, Galros forced the madness down through sheer willpower. His mind cleared… barely.

But he was the exception.

Most of the others were not so lucky.

“You wicked dragon! I, Alberto, will deliver divine judgment and purge your evil!”

His pupils burning red from rage, the golden dragon Alberto charged forward without hesitation. Overwhelmed by fury, he completely ignored the difference in strength and even rushed in before Galros could initiate a coordinated attack.

“D**n you! DIE!”

Alberto, consumed by wrath, had lost all reason.

Golsas, seeing the reckless charge, let out a low growl.

He casually swiped his left claw, effortlessly knocking aside the Conquest Halberd Alberto swung with all his might. His other massive claw lashed out like lightning, seizing the golden dragon by the throat.

In the blink of an eye, Alberto’s enormous body was lifted like a battering ram and hurled at the red dragon Samantha, who was charging in from the flank.

BOOM!

The impact was tremendous.

Samantha’s thick alchemical armor shattered on contact, and both dragons were sent flying, tumbling across the charred floor, carving out a deep trench of scorched rubble and broken stone.

At the same time, Laeticia, attempting a flanking sneak attack, was struck down by Golsas’ lightning-fast tail. The blood-red whip crashed down, driving most of her body into the ground—embedded so deeply she couldn't move.

The battlefield descended into absolute chaos.

Though Golsas had lost most of his reason due to his extreme rage, as a wild dragon, anger only made him stronger.

Meanwhile, the alliance, their minds clouded by rage, lost their coordination and fell into disarray.

They had been meant to follow Galros’ lead in a tactical assault, but now, they rushed in like wild beasts, ignoring differences in strength and charging mindlessly at Golsas.

This not only ruined the effectiveness of the siege but also disrupted Galros’ rhythm.

While Galros was briefly held off, the Undying Phoenix Angelia swooped in from the side, launching a diving attack.

She was fast—but Golsas was faster.

He turned, thrusting a claw clean through her semi-energy form.

While physical attacks typically didn’t work well on phoenixes, his sheer rage-laced presence invaded her mind the moment they made contact.

Bloodshot veins rapidly spread through her once-clear avian eyes.

“F***ing red dragon! I'm taking you with me!”

“Let’s die together!”

The phoenix shrieked a heart-wrenching cry.

Though far from truly desperate, the rage had shattered her self-control. She irrationally chose to self-detonate, triggering a Phoenix Rebirth explosion.

BOOM!!!

It was like a miniature sun ignited inside the coliseum.

Centered on Golsas and the phoenix, a blazing white sphere expanded violently, devouring stone, earth, and everything in its path.

The coliseum, already crumbling from the prolonged battle, couldn't withstand the explosion.

Fortunately, even though most had lost their minds, some of the allies instinctively scattered before the detonation hit full force, minimizing the damage.

As the flames of the Phoenix’s Rebirth slowly died down, her radiant form reappeared.

But the coliseum had been obliterated—reduced to floating, charred boulders suspended in a blood-colored, primordial space.

This was the true form of the arena—stripped of all disguise.

“Calm down! Everyone, stay calm!”

Iron Dragon Sorog and Amethyst Dragon-Lion Ennos, struggling to suppress their own rage, cast powerful Mind Soothing spells.

Waves of gentle psychic energy flowed through the battlefield, trying to cool their allies' boiling fury.

The Holy Spirit Deer glowed like a beacon of light. Bathed in pure white energy, it continuously cast healing spells, sending divine radiance to allies scorched by Golsas or wounded by the phoenix’s explosion.

Now, every single creature present was injured and panting.

“You pathetic insects really thought you could slay the great Golsas?! Dream on!!”

The red dragon’s roar echoed through the blood-colored space.

The phoenix’s Rebirth had left his body scorched and cracked, with charred fissures all over—but his form remained intact.

His high resistance to fire and honed physique had kept him alive.

In fact, the pain only made him more enraged—and stronger.

“Should I enter Bloodburn now… or go straight to Scarlet Lotus?”

Galros stared at the seething Golsas, weighing his options.

Battle High was no longer enough. But whether it was the overtaxing Bloodburn or the terrifyingly powerful but draining Scarlet Lotus, neither could be maintained for long.

If he couldn’t finish Golsas in time, the consequences would be disastrous.

He still had the Dragon Pearl—his ultimate fallback, a second life. But its use would exhaust it completely, preventing a second activation of Scarlet Lotus later.

Worse yet, Golsas clearly still hadn't hit his limit. No one knew how deep his reserves ran.

“Not yet. I can’t waste my trump card.”

Galros forced down his urge to go all out.

He would continue stalling Golsas in Battle High, adapting as the fight evolved.

With a powerful flap of his wings, he stirred a tornado of wind and charged again.

“DIE!”

Golsas roared, knocking Galros back with a savage claw, then tanked a halberd strike from Alberto, swinging his giant blood-colored wing at Sorog, who was trying to reposition.

Too fast!

Sorog couldn’t dodge in time. He focused all his energy into his metallic scales and threw up a psychic shield in front of him.

CRACK!

The shield shattered like glass.

Sorog grunted in pain, his body flung like a cannonball through floating debris, finally crashing into the boundary of the blood realm, cracking it with a spiderweb of fractures.

“RAHHH!”

Golsas seized the moment. He opened his jaws wide.

A massive blood-colored flame breath surged from his throat, flooding the arena like a fan-shaped tsunami.

It wasn’t aimed at a single foe—it targeted everyone in front: Galros, Alberto, Samantha, Laeticia, and even the Holy Spirit Deer healing in the back.

WHOOSH!

Galros responded instantly, his own Flame Lightning Breath colliding with Golsas’ in a sizzling blast.

But even enhanced, Galros’ breath was slowly pushed back.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

In the nick of time, other dragon breaths joined him.

Alberto’s sacred fire, Samantha’s alchemy-infused scarlet flames, Laeticia’s thunder-infused fire — all joined forces.

The combined breath barely held the bloodfire back, then slowly began to push it in reverse.

Behind Golsas, the wounded Sorog and Amethyst Lion roared, spewing their own breath.

BOOM BOOM BOOM!

Their attack hit Golsas’ exposed back.

Lightning danced, flames exploded, and psychic energy corroded—completely disrupting Golsas’ breath.

And with that, Galros and the others' breath attacks surged forward, crashing into the red dragon.

Instantly—

Golsas was engulfed in a storm of multicolored, devastating energy.

But it didn’t kill him.

“You f***ers…!!”

From the eye of the storm came Golsas’ roar—full of pain and unbelievable rage.

BOOM!

A blood-colored blur burst from the blast zone.

He had broken free—through sheer willpower.

Any other red dragon of equal size would’ve been incinerated.

But Golsas, forged in madness, reborn through cursed flames, was no ordinary dragon.

The others, exhausted, stopped their breath attacks.

They panted, watching the smoke clear.

What they saw stunned them.

Golsas was unrecognizable.

Not a single intact scale remained—his body was blackened, cracked, and bleeding from countless gaping wounds. Residual energy from the varied breath types still surged through him.

Yet somehow... he stood.

“Kill… every last one of you…”

His voice dripped with unending hate.

The battle scars on his body—normally emblems of past victories—now pulsed with life, glowing like slithering blood-red worms.

The glow spread—

His wounds began to heal rapidly, muscle regenerating like molten steel cords, new scales harder and sharper than before.

The very air caught fire from his presence. His frame grew larger once more.

His glowing red eyes turned into bottomless blood pools.

A terrifying fusion of rage and violence, pushing every stat—power, speed, reflexes, defense, regeneration—to their limits.

His bellow pierced their souls.

Even Galros, usually iron-willed, felt his vision turn red, his mind drowning in violent urges.

He gritted his teeth, struggling to stay focused.

Galros fought with discipline. He wasn’t a wild dragon. Rage didn’t empower him—it clouded him.

Even with mental protection spells from Sorog and the Amethyst Lion, he couldn’t entirely block out the madness.

Only he barely kept his sanity. The others... were completely lost.

Golsas blurred, vanishing in a burst of red lightning.

He no longer prioritized Galros.

Wild Mode let him act on pure combat instinct—and it told him: ignore the hard target, kill the weak ones first.

He locked onto Alberto—who, lost in fury, charged recklessly.

The blood-colored claw slammed down.

Alberto roared, channeling Oath energy into his halberd.

The divine weapon snapped in two.

The follow-up headbutt crushed his golden chest plates. With a horrible crunch, blood and shredded organs sprayed from his mouth.

His limp body crashed into the blackened rubble, his scales dimming.

At that moment, a claw wreathed in red-gold lightning struck Golsas’ side.

Galros.

Though his thoughts were clouded by rage, he knew his allies couldn’t hold out. He triggered Bloodburn, despite the massive strain.

Four golden energy arms erupted from his body.

He and Golsas clashed in a deadly melee.

The others, berserk, flung claws and breath recklessly.

But Golsas ignored them. Against Wild Mode, only Galros could stand his ground.

Samantha’s prized alchemical armor shattered like glass. She was flung across the arena, bleeding and unconscious.

Laeticia tried to strike from behind—but was smashed into the ground.

Galros slashed again and again, tearing open Golsas’ chest—but the wounds regenerated almost instantly.

“RAHH! RAHH! RAHH!”

Golsas howled, incomprehensibly, attacking without pause.

Sorog, bones broken, reappeared like a ghost and struck at the base of Golsas’ wing—trying to disable it.

But Golsas sensed him. His tail lashed out like a whip.

CRACK!

Sorog was smashed into the floor—unable to rise.

The Amethyst Lion tried to sever his leg tendons—but Golsas spun, clawing its head, crushing it in his palm.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Galros’ energy arms battered Golsas relentlessly.

The Flower Lord Charles teleported above Golsas’ head, driving his crossblade downward.

But Golsas flung him off and headbutted him into a floating boulder. Charles vanished in a shower of stone.

Galros saw his chance.

He roared, burning with dragon blood.

Red lotus-shaped marks ignited across his body.

Scarlet Lotus Mode!

His power peaked. The energy arms fused with his real ones.

His claws glowed with fiery heat and monstrous force—clamping down on Golsas’ throat, digging deep into his flesh.

In return, Golsas grabbed Galros’ neck, entering a deadly chokehold.

The Phoenix Angelia dove again—grabbing Golsas tight—and self-detonated.

BOOM!!!

White flames consumed both dragons.

In the inferno, they tore into each other—both ripping out chunks of flesh, refusing to defend.

Galros, typically calm, fought like a mad beast—mirroring Golsas.

When Angelia reformed, trembling, she dared not approach again.

Her fire couldn’t hurt Golsas, and one more self-detonation would end her current life.

Meanwhile, the Holy Spirit Deer was drained, barely casting one final, strongest healing ray at Galros before collapsing.

The two dragons—father and son—fought with unmatched fury.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Each clash shattered the skies.

Their claws split mountains. Their fangs shredded steel.

They fought from floating ruins to the edge of space. Cracks spread across reality itself.

CRACK! BOOM!

A final clash split the coliseum—revealing the real world.

Cold rain poured from gray skies, washing blood and smoke from the broken land.

The dragons didn’t stop.

Steam hissed off their searing scales as they fought in the storm, locked in mortal combat.

Galros sensed it—

Golsas was slowing.

His regeneration was faltering.

Now or never.

Galros dropped his defense, letting Golsas’ claw shred his gut.

Through the pain, he poured everything—all his remaining energy—into his right claw.
