Irina’s POV

His mouth crashed down onto mine.

It wasn’t a kiss. It was a violent, absolute claiming. It was a punishment.

His teeth clashed brutally against my lips. I tasted copper instantly. The sharp, metallic tang of my own blood flooded my tongue. I gasped, and the second my lips parted, his tongue invaded my mouth. He swallowed my desperate cry completely.
