Beg Me Like You Mean It, Captain

Chapter 13: Our teammates.

Chapter 13

Reid didn’t move. He let out a low sound that vibrated against my skin, making my pulse jump. Slowly, he lifted his head, his grey eyes dark and heavy with a terrifyingly smug satisfaction. He looked down at me, his gaze traveling over my bitten lips and the bruise he had left on my wrists.

"Let them," Reid murmured, a slow, wolfish grin carving its way onto his face. "Let them come. I want to see Russo’s face when he finds the ’Perfect Captain’ all messed up with my cock knotted in him. I want them to smell exactly whose scent you have on you."

My face went red, a heat that had nothing to do with the fever in my blood. "Don’t... don’t say things like that."

"Why not?" Reid mocked, his thumb dragging slowly across my bottom lip, pulling it down to show the teeth I’d used to muffle most of my moans. "It’s the truth, isn’t it? You aren’t the leader right now, Kain. You’re just a mess."

"We still have to leave," I gritted out, refusing to indulge him. I tried to summon a shred of the authority I had left, even as my body remained locked to his. "They’ll come looking for us. If the Coach finds us like this, it’s over for both of us. Not just me."

Reid let out a short, wild laugh that echoed through the trees. He didn’t look scared. He looked like he’d just won the lottery and was enjoying the view. He leaned down, his lips brushing my ear, his pheromones flaring in a heavy, possessive wave again.

"You’re really something," he whispered, his voice dripping with a new, dangerous kind of pride. "You’re worrying about the team right now? After you just begged me to fill you up?"

I squeezed my eyes shut, the memory of my own voice—desperate and broken—flashing through my mind. I had asked for this. I had stripped away my own rationality and handed it to him.

"It was the heat," I whispered, though it felt like a pathetic excuse.

"It was you," Reid corrected, his voice dropping into a low snarl. He leaned back just enough to look me in the eye, his hand moving to cup my jaw, his thumb pressing firmly against my skin. "And now that I’ve had a taste, Evans, don’t think for a second I’m letting anyone else near this blooming flower."

I stared at him. What do I do with this guy?

It doesn’t look like he plans to let anyone know about my secret, but regardless... He was dangerous.

Then, the knot finally began to recede, a slow, pulsing ache that felt like my very life force was draining away with it.

"There we go," Reid said and finally pulled back. The cold air rushed into the space where our bodies had collided, hitting my feverish skin like a slap, and I shivered.

Then, he watched with a perverted interest as my gaping hole twitched and then slowly leaked out his thick, creamy semen.

He grinned, proud of himself.

"It’s such a waste," he said. "But no matter. I’ll just fill you up again,"

That didn’t sound alright in the slightest.

He got up, adjusting his pants back up, and watched me as I struggled to put on my briefs again, enduring the leakage in my hole. ’I’ll be fine once I get to the cabin and take a bath,’ I thought.

But I felt Reid’s eyes fixed on my every movement, watching and assessing, and possibly, triumphing over the state he had put me in.

My legs felt like jelly, trembling from the aftermath of the collision, but I tried to stay firm. I’d rather fall than ask him to help me up.

"Now, shall we head back to the cabin?" He asked, and I looked at that devilish grin. Just what was this brat planning?

The trek back to the cabin was a nightmare. I was stumbling, my boots dragging through the light dusting of dirt until we got to where there was snow, and even then, I couldn’t stop dragging my feet.

It was difficult to walk straight after such a rough ’exercise’.

"Keep your head up," Reid hissed, his voice low and vibrating against my temple.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me against his side, his heavy jacket brushing against my already sensitive skin. "You look like you’re about to pass out, and you smell like a damn greenhouse. Lean into me."

"I’m trying to walk on my own," I whispered, my breath hitching. The heat I thought would subside after such a rough and satisfying sex came back like a wave.

It was pulsing, and my skin felt raw, over-sensitized to the rough fabric of his coat and the terrifyingly sturdy line of his body.

We had just cleared the densest part of the tree line when voices drifted toward us—loud, boisterous, and unmistakably Alpha.

Our teammates.

"I’m telling you, Russo, if we don’t get real food tonight, I’m eating the Coach’s clipboard!" Miller’s voice rang out and was accompanied by Russo’s deep laugh.

They boomed through the trees, followed by the crunch of heavy boots on the main trail.

My heart practically dropped, knowing the kind of state I was in. They were less than fifty yards away from seeing me and knowing the truth.

"Stop," I gasped, my fingers digging into Reid’s forearm. "They’re right there."

But Reid didn’t stop. If anything, he slowed his pace to a casual, arrogant stroll, his chin tilting up. "Let them be there. Just keep your mouth shut and stay tucked under my arm. My scent is heavy enough to drown out a forest fire right now. They won’t smell a thing over me."

"Reid, please—"

"I said stay shut, Evans."

We rounded the bend, and there they were. Russo, Miller, and three other Alphas from the first line. They were sweaty, smelling of damp earth and adrenaline, their presence a suffocating wall of masculinity.

They looked like they had just finished a round of workout.

"Yo! McCoy! Evans!" Russo called out as soon as he spotted us. He stopped, his nostrils flaring slightly as he looked at us. "Where have you two been? We thought you’d gotten lost in the woods."
