The barrier around the ring dissolved as Solomon lowered his hand.

Felix rolled his shoulder once and looked down at what was left of his shirt. Half of it was hanging off him in strips and the other half was gone entirely.

He didn’t seem bothered by it.

But someone was.

"Not bad at all~" Petra licked her lips as her eyes traced down Felix’s body slowly, from his chest to his abs to the lines that disappeared below his waistband.

’Why is it so goddamn durable!?’ She bit the corner of her lip in frustration, silently cursing his pants for surviving that clash.

But an exciting thought crossed her mind as she watched Felix’s hardened body shift back to its normal state.

’Can he make ’that’ rock hard too?’ A jolt of current shot through her body and a obsessive look flashed in her violet eyes.

’Oh shit. This isn’t good!’ Dante noticed the way she was looking at Felix and knew that crazy woman had taken an interest in him.

Then he caught something else.

To his left, Freya was standing perfectly still like she had already known the outcome of the fight. But her right hand was curled into a fist at her side and she was looking at Petra.

’Oh?’ Dante glanced between Freya and Felix, and an interesting look appeared on his face.

Felix stepped out of the ring and walked over to Freya. Before he could say anything, she shoved his jacket into his chest.

"Put it on." She said in a hurried tone.

Felix blinked, confused by the urgency. He looked down at his torn shirt and then back at her.

’It must be because I used the bloodline technique in front of everyone.’ He thought, throwing the jacket over his shoulders. He sent a voice transmission. ’Relax. Nobody here would know what it actually is.’

Freya said nothing. Her jaw was clenched and she wasn’t looking at him.

She was looking at Petra.

Petra felt the stare and turned to meet it. After seeing who it was coming from, something clicked behind her eyes and an amused smile spread across her face.

’Oh. So that’s how it is.’

After the fight, the meeting wrapped up quickly. Solomon told everyone to stay put until he confirmed the news about Arthur’s cultivation.

Dante was more than happy to wait. He did have plans to spark the conflict between Crimson Hollow and the White Tigers earlier than the original plot, but it was still too soon for that.

On the other hand, Petra had him a little worried. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

She was the same type of person as Ryan.

Once she took an interest in someone, she wouldn’t let go until she got what she wanted.

But once he thought about Felix’s strength, his mind was at ease.

After collecting the 2,000 Villain Points for foreshadowing Marcus’s death, his total balance hit 22,000.

He tried to cultivate like usual, but that plan went straight out the window as he had something more important to do.

The next day, Dante was standing in front of the master bedroom.

He had actually put in some effort today.

A clean white shirt with the top button undone, dark fitted pants, and a jacket thrown over his arm. Hair styled, shoes clean, everything in place.

It was the kind of look that said "I’m taking someone’s daughter out" even though he was taking someone’s mother.

"Master, are you ready?" He asked in a somewhat impatient tone. He had been waiting for a whole hour.

"Did you lie to me yesterday? Are you really getting ready?" He asked, even though he already knew she was getting ready inside.

He had stopped checking the feed after noticing she was putting in real effort. He wanted to see the final result in person.

Inside the room, Natasha was checking herself in the mirror one last time and couldn’t help but feel a bit speechless at his impatience. ’He waited three days without complaining but can’t handle one hour?’

At the same time, a slight blush crept up her cheeks. The situation reminded her of those scenes in movies where the wife takes forever to get ready and the husband loses his mind waiting.

’Natasha, get your thoughts straight!’ She slapped herself with both hands, looking at her in the mirror with a determined face. ’You are going for shopping! Just shopping!’

Her actions didn’t quite match her thoughts as she spend an hour getting ready for just shopping.

The door to the master bedroom opened finally for the first time in three days.

Natasha stepped out in a fitted champagne dress that hugged her figure down to her knees, with a cropped black cardigan sitting just above her waist. A thin necklace rested against her collarbone, a belt cinched at her waist, and a small chain bag hung from her arm. Her black hair fell loose past her shoulders.

’Whoa...’ Dante’s eyes went wide the moment she stepped out. This was the first time he had ever seen her dress up, and he had to admit she was absolutely gorgeous.

Natasha’s reaction was a lot more controlled on the outside. But on the inside, she was just as stunned.

Seeing him stare at her so blatantly with his mouth half open, she felt a mix of pride and irritation. ’I’m his master. How dare he look at me like that!’

"Close your mouth before a mosquito flies in." She said in a cold tone.

Hearing her voice, Dante snapped out of it and scratched the back of his head with a nervous smile. "Haha, sorry, Master. I couldn’t help it."

"You look really beautiful today."

Ba-thump!

"Shut up." Natasha’s heart skipped a beat and she cut him off before he could say anything else, turning toward the stairs.

"Let’s go." She walked off without waiting for him.

"Master, wait for me!" Dante had no idea what was wrong about a simple compliment and chased after her.

But if he had been using the feed, he would have seen the small smile on her lips.
