Before Xiao Shao had time to argue with Huan Yun, the sticky and seductive voice of the innkeeper came.

The innkeeper put down a jug of wine and said, "Guests, these are our speciality dishes and wine. Please enjoy it."

She nodded to the servant and stepped aside after saying that. The servant carrying the tray politely placed the plates on the table. Huan Yun stared wide-eyed at the food spread out in front of her, while swallowing her saliva.

It was the best food she had seen since she opened her eyes. The innkeeper looked at her eager eyes and chuckled softly. She winked at Huan Yun and Xiao Shao, then coquettishly said, "Please enjoy your meal, Guests."

After speaking, she turned and left. Huan Yun glanced at the innkeeper’s sexy body, and said with amazement: "What an amazing body."

Xiao Shao glanced at Huan Yun, but didn’t speak. Huan Yun was hungry, so she picked up the chopsticks and bowl, and then ate happily.

Standing in the middle of the yard, he looked around but couldn’t find Xu Xiang. As soon as he walked out of the door, Xu Xiang disappeared in front of his eyes. When he looked back, he saw Huan Yun and Xiao Shao were eating inside.

He thought for a moment, then made a hand seal. A second later, a formation appeared under his feet. The formation is getting bigger and bigger, and then covering the entire building and the yard.

When the formation was completed, he muttered in a low voice: "Break."

As soon as his voice came out, the formation expanded at fast speed. A second later, the formation got stuck, and the sound of glass shattering sounded. Mu Yucheng calmly looked at the crack that expanded like a spider web on top of his head. A few seconds later, the formation lit up, and the sky shattered like glass.

Crash!

He looked up and saw the real night sky covered with stars. The moment the barrier was destroyed, Xu Xiang appeared in front of him. He was relieved to see her standing there unharmed.

"Miss Xu." He called her calmly.

Xu Xiang raised her head and saw Mu Yucheng standing in front of her. Accustomed to his coming and going silently, Xu Xiang looked at him and asked, "Mu Yucheng, why are you coming out?"

He moved closer to her, observed her for a moment, and then asked, "Are you all right?"

Xu Xiang nodded at him in confusion. "I’m fine. Why do you ask?"

Mu Yucheng turned around and looked at the inn. He didn’t see Xiao Shao and Huan Yun, but only a dilapidated building. Then he turned and looked at Xu Xiang.

Seeing her calm expression, he asked, "Miss Xu, what did you see right now?"

Xu Xiang tilted her head in doubt, but still looked around, and replied: "An empty yard and inn."

After finishing speaking, she looked at him and asked, "Why are you asking me this? Do you see something different from what I see?"

Mu Yucheng didn’t answer her, but just raised his index finger and middle finger and said, "Excuse me."

Xu Xiang looked up and was surprised to see a dilapidated building in front of her. Seeing her surprised expression, Mu Yucheng said, "We have met a fox demon."

"Fox demon?" Xu Xiang asked with wide eyes.

As someone who lives in an advanced interstellar world, the word ’demon’ is foreign to her. If Mu Yucheng had just mentioned ’mutated beast’ or ’terrestrial being’, she would not have been so surprised.

Mu Yucheng noticed her interest and her look of surprise, and said, "Mhm. This is at least a seven-tailed fox demon."

Seeing his serious expression, Xu Xiang asked, "Is this fox demon hard to defeat?"

Mu Yucheng looked around, shook his head and answered her. "It’s not that hard to defeat it."
