Having been "caught," Ji Qingwu could only resign herself to her fate and follow Eunuch Li up the tower.

The Star-Picking Tower, as its name implied, seemed tall enough to touch the myriad stars in the night sky. Its defining feature was its height.

She curtsied behind him and said softly, "May Your Majesty be blessed."

Ji Qingwu obediently drew closer, only then realizing how magnificent the view from the Star-Picking Tower was.
