SSR Class Necromancer: I recruit Ghosts as Soldiers!

"Wow, we leveled up now! Let’s get back to the camp!" Ren said to the two.

"Yep, we finished the task and got our levels up. Let’s get back." Roan suggested. They also looted gold and then Ren was slightly happy about his reap. He got 6 Legendary Heroes now. He has reaped the most compared to the other two.

Ren as well as the others went back in camp and then saw guards that were training in the training grounds. Roan and Rick was observing and they immediately went interested.

The Commander then saw them and then asked. "Oh, the prodigies! Finally back! What is your mission report?" He asked.

Ren stepped forward and then told, "We eliminated the restless heroes in their catacombs. It seemed some evil energy were put to them to become evil or hostile against us. In my observation, they were all attacking us humans." Ren reported.

"I see, that’s bad news. If our heroes are used against us, then we will have a hard time to defeat them." He voiced out sadly.

"Though I have a spell that will cleanse their spirits and they will he put to rest!" Ren announced.

The Commander immediately were impressed. "That’s good news!" He shouted. Eyes brimming with hope.

"Well then, we will eat as we have fought hard today. Afterwards, the two will make a short spar with each other. I need them to be as sharp as possible. They were still lacking in my own observation." Ren announced.

"What!?" Roan was dissatisfied by his proclamation. To think they were still lacking was an understatement. They were the best. But then, Ren summoned ten skeletons and then it was enough to make Roan shut up.

"If you think you can go against ten of my skeletons then I will not ask more. But if you can’t, then you will have to train for now." Ren said to him with eyes shimmering in blue hue.

Thinking about it, Roan did cowered. He will not want to face 10 of Ren’s summons. It will be the same as facing 10 Rens at once! Ren was a master in combat, seeing it, he felt chills down his spine. As he discovered that Ren was the one who controls them all.

"No no, surely you jest. I will not face such monsters." Roan was a bit shy as of now.

"Okay, Roan and Rick, you will have a small spar. I will let you two train a bit. I will have to manage the training." He said to them.

"Rick, when it comes to your stats, you should focus on your defense. Also, you need to increase your strength. As you are our temporary tank and mage."

"Roan, focus on Dexterity and Agility. If you managed to increase your stamina too, you will be a killing nonstop engine without limits. You are our Damage dealer." Ren explained.

"I see, I will think of this every time I got stats. Thanks!" Roan just had an eye opener suggestion.

"I see, I don’t have clear build for our team composition. I will surely follow your suggestion." Rick said as he scratched his chin.

Then afterwards, the two ate and then finished in a jiffy. They immediately went to see the new recruits to have a practice match before they would eat.

Roan and Rick went to the nearby clearing and then went to show off their skills to Ren.

They arrived at the clearing where they all went to have a match with the two.

"The ones to spar are Roan and Rick! I look forward to your fight!" Ren said to them.

The guards then stopped training and were clapping their hands in the process while the two of them entered the training area. They bro fists with each other and punched each other’s shoulders, chuckling on the process.

"I will fight you fair and square," said Roan

"Nah, no need to hold back. I am planning to give my all." Rick said to him while motioning of thumbs down. Roan can only smirk in the process.

"Okay, you two better be fighting fair and square okay? I don’t want to see you impale each other. Now get ready, and fight!" Ren started their brawl.

The two of them were sizing each other. Not being hasty of an immediate battle. Roan was starting to have an aura that was gushing out of his body. He used his skill [Beast aura].

[Beast aura]–his Lycan skill of making him have a beastly instinct. He was on the white stage of the beast aura, making his senses and reaction speed rise. Starting from white, green, yellow, blue, and, red.

He crouched like a beast and dashed towards Rick. Rick who was standing there felt unfazed by his opponent. He used his skill [Druidic armor].

[Druidic armor]–an armor who was protecting the user. The armor can be charged by mana and can become stronger depending on the growth of the user. Can be usable when on human form or werebear form. The armor regenerates while infusing mana on it.

Roan slashed with his hands and Rick grabbed his wrist. Seemingly like it does not weigh at all. Roan rotated and kicked him in the face and so he let go of his grip. Still not damaged by his kick.

"Hey Roan, is that all you got?" Rick shouted at him a few meters away.

"Shut up! I am still not giving my all out!" He cursed.

He used his summoning skill [Beast call] to call forth his companions.

[Beast call]–summing forth the contracted spirit wolves and crows. Maintained by the mana of the user. The crows and spirit wolves regenerate by consuming the mana of the caster.

He was surrounded by his summons and the wolves were all seven while the crows were also seven in numbers.

"Attack!" Shouted Rick to his opponent.

Tooth saw this and didn’t want to lose also in summonings. He called forth his summons [Summon bear] and [Summon vines].

[Summon bear]–an agressive bear, also have intelligence like the spirit wolves and crows. They can also have spirit armor if intelligent enough.

[Summon vines]–a vine that was alive, assisting the caster. Can have spew poison, ice, and, fire damage. Also able to bite the enemy with its teeth.

Their summons attacked each other. Crows were attacking the summoned vines and it was spewing poison. Despite its attacks, the crows were relentlessly pecking at it. The wolves attacked the bear while surrounding it. Biting on its blind spot but they were swatted by its big paws. They were regenerating and attacked again. The bear then used its skill spirit armor on itself. Making its defence to shoot up.

Rick dashed towards Saber, shouting his name and then transformed. [Shapeshift werebear].

[Shapeshift werebear]–transforming his self into a werebear. With the spirit armor on his body, the armor expanded and transformed itself to suit the shape of the werebear.

"Roan!" Shouted Rick.

"Rick!" Shouted Roan.

He transformed into a werewolf. [Shapeshift werewolf]

[Shapeshift werewolf]–his skill of making himself into a werewolf form.

They both darted towards each other and slashed each other’s faces with their paws. Rick who has armor was only suffering in small damage. Even though Roan has no armor, he was fast enough to evade his slow strikes. Pouncing at him every time he has a chance.

"Is that all you’ve got!?" Said Rick on his werebear form.

"Roar! Shut your mouth will you?" Shouted Roan as he slapped him in the face.

They exchanged blows like wild beasts. Roan was hit on the face by Rick heavy paws and he was thrown afar by a few steps. Rolling to the ground several times. Tooth dashed at him but he jolted when Saber immediately stood up and used his skill [Fury].

[Fury]–slashing several times with claws as fast as he could. He has five slashes on his limit.

Slashing his face five times made Rick dizzy a bit. He retaliated with a slash with his paws but Roan stepped back a bit, evading his strike on the process. Rick was very furious so he used his skill [Hand slam].

[Hand slam]–slamming the ground with his heavy hands. Strength affects the damage and shockwave of the skill.

He slammed the ground and his area of effect burst like a bomb. Making Roan to be thrown again by his attack. He rolled over several times and saw that Roan was approaching him. He darted again and slashed with his claws towards him and Rick bear blocked his attack. Roan’s wolves attacked Rick in the process. Making the vines to attack the wolves with fire damage. The crows assisted with pecking the bear making Roan attack the vines. Killing them in the process.

The crows were all eliminated as Rick swatted them all. Leaving the bear and the wolves who were fighting each other. With them being left, they fought again with a brawl. Roan called back his wolves and they all formed a line, facing Rick and his bear. They were sizing against each other and then dashed towards each other.

"I will defeat you!" Roan shouted at him while dashing.

"Never even in your dream!" Rick shouted.

They smacked each other’s faces and were battering each other’s bodies. They were brawling each other and their summons was extinguished after their time was up. The two were the only ones left fighting each other. Their mana gradually became empty and their transformations were up. Still punching each other’s faces. Ren stood up and stopped the fight.

"Okay, okay, that’s enough. You should never fight to the death. You are taking this too seriously." Ren said as he saw their faces that were beginning to swell.

The two of them inwardly cursed as they didn’t know who was stronger. They touched their faces and felt the pain.

"It’s a tie!" Ren announced. The guards then realised their strengths and clapped their hands. Making the two to feel embarrassed.
