[Setting it down, the beast fled, and the Crow helplessly caught it again. After seven times, the beast seemed to understand it couldn’t escape the Divine Bird and obediently followed by the Crow’s side.]

[The Crow brought them back beneath the withered tree and began teaching them to recognize words. He discovered that animals born of the "Innate" were not afraid of his flames and their bodies would consume the light and heat emitted by the fire.]

[In other words, they depended on the light generated by his flames for survival.]

[The Crow began teaching this rabbit, this snake, and the beast to cultivate.]

[Eight hundred years later, the rabbit "Xixi," the little snake "Qingqing," and the beast "Ugly Monster" each successively gave birth to a Primordial Spirit, finally able to speak.]

[Xixi, Qingqing, and Ugly Monster all respected their "erudite" brother from the bottom of their hearts.]

[As for matters the Crow didn’t know, he would fabricate offhandedly.]

[Apart from the faint luminosity emitted by the massive Primordial Spirit of the Crow, everywhere else remained pitch black. Yet, the Crow noticed that the "Earth Walls" of the four corners began to continuously dissolve, and with each dissolution, a new "Innate Spirit" would be born in the darkness.]

[The Crow occasionally ventured out to patrol the dark world, observing if any new "Innate Spirits" would be born.]

[After another ten thousand years, all places gradually welcomed the birth of "Innate Spirits." The Crow astutely observed that these spirits were conceived from the fusion of a wisp of Qi in the world and the soil.]

[Simultaneously, other "Innate Spirits" began mating and reproducing, miraculously giving birth to bizarre and extraordinary animals of varied forms. These spirits rapidly proliferated in the world, yet the world seemed overly dark and cramped, soon becoming uncomfortably crowded.]

["It seems the East is very angry. Who among you provoked it this time?"]

["The light from the East feels even hotter and so comfortable. But it doesn’t like to move, just stays there and doesn’t allow us to approach, and a few of my grandchildren died from lack of light."]

[Whispers of worship, complaints, and doubts filled the darkness...]

[The Crow looked at the chaotic world, unable to understand the nonsense of the "Innate Spirits". He pondered for a moment, then returned to the withered tree of East Valley, and shouted: "Ugly!"]

[The Ugly Monster, now a hundred feet tall, was startled awake by the sound. With a few leaps, he ran over and bowed his head, gathering in front of the Little Crow, "Big brother, what’s the matter?"]

[The Crow ordered: "Ugly, go and subdue the leaders of those Innate Spirits, and bring them all here."]

[The Ugly Monster’s expression changed, looking troubled, he whispered: "Big brother..."]

[The Crow thought of the Ugly Monster’s strength, realizing there were a few powerful creatures he couldn’t defeat. "Tell them, if they don’t come, they’ll bear the consequences."]

[He paused, looking at the Ugly Monster, added: "Don’t worry, if you can’t beat them, run back here, I’ll incinerate them with a breath of fire."]

The twelve Innate Ancient Gods, seeing the desolation of heaven and earth, felt inspired to nurture offspring, who begot grandchildren, but there was birth and death, hence unending chaos.

They sincerely went to East Valley to face the sole sun, "East".
