When he woke up again, it was already the next morning.

Qin Hongguo was speechless. He opened his mouth but couldn’t find any words to retort.

"Alright, let’s not be third wheels. We old folks should get out of here and let them have some time alone!"

Luo Xianglan quickly shooed Qin Hongguo out for a walk.

Chen Man Ni tiptoed as she pushed the door open, a triumphant, mischievous smirk on her face.

’Haha, he’s still not up. Just watch me play a good prank on him.’

Seeing Qin Tuo lying in bed with his eyes closed and covered by a blanket, Chen Man Ni quietly approached.

Just as she was about to pinch Qin Tuo’s nose, he suddenly opened his eyes and made a scary face.

"Ah! You’re awake!"

Chen Man Ni jumped in fright.

Qin Tuo sat up straight and threw the blanket off!

Qin Tuo was fully and neatly dressed, and he got right out of bed.

Chen Man Ni stomped her foot, her face flushing red.

She had wanted to tease Qin Tuo, but he had turned the tables on her.

"By the way, what did you come over for today? Don’t tell me you’re here to seal the deal with me?"

Qin Tuo said with a wicked grin and a mischievous look in his eyes.

Chen Man Ni’s eyes went wide, clearly infuriated.

"Qin Tuo, what nonsense are you spouting? I’m a respectable young lady! How could you slander me like that?"

As she spoke, she put on an expression like she was about to burst into tears.

’This girl... she’s such a drama queen!’

Qin Tuo didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. If he hadn’t already known what Chen Man Ni was like, he would have definitely been fooled by her delicate act.
