These people were all top Mythic powerhouses of the previous generation of humanity. Once, they had been the pillars supporting the entire human plane.

The moment John saw Leon’s face clearly, his pupils contracted violently, and disbelief appeared on his face.

He had long heard that several decades ago, the Lord of Valhalla had led a group of human powerhouses away, only for all of them to disappear without a trace. The entire plane had searched for them, yet found nothing.

"But the second stage of the trial is guarded by us Wingborn.

"Your path ends here."

One of the human powerhouses who could still move clenched his fists and said through gritted teeth, "We admit defeat. We will withdraw from the trial and never set foot here again."

Hearing that they wished to retreat, the Wingborn powerhouses burst into mocking laughter.
