My Twin Stepsisters Are Way Too Yandere!

The second day of Seiran Academy’s festival started with one objective.

Survive.

Unfortunately, the festival did not receive the same notification.

At 9:00 AM, chaos unleashed a coordinating assault on the school.

Just like always, Kuro Kurogane was the main target.

Exactly seven minutes past opening, Kuro’s cell phone rang.

Then it rang again.

Then it rang again.

He received three calls at the same time.

He first answered the call from the football club president, who sounded frantic.

"What is going on?!"

"Our equipment is gone!"

Kuro lost all sense of time.

"Again!?!"

"Yes!"

"How on earth did this happen?"

"We don’t know!"

The first call ended.

A second call connected immediately afterwards.

"Kuro?!"

The music club.

"What is wrong now?!"

"We lost power on the main stage!"

"All the audio equipment is dead."

Of course it would be.

Naturally, Kuro’s phone rang again before he could respond.

It was the gaming club.

Of course.

"The tournament server is down!" was the first thing that Kuro heard when he answered the phone.

"Why?!" he yelled so loudly that the person on the other end flinched.

"We don’t know!" she replied.

"Did you save the data?"

"No."

Kuro felt as though he should throw his phone against the wall.

Instead he ran.

The football club had priority because they were closer to Kuro then Kuro was to anyone else.

By the time Kuro got there, it seemed that students were looking for their missing equipment boxes and targets and some of them had lost their footballs. Everyone was searching frantically.

"Where did you leave them?" Kuro asked the president of the football club.

The president pointed to a storage room. Kuro opened the door and immediately found the culprit.

It was The Drama Club.

They had taken everything without permission.

Apparently, they thought that football equipment would look great in a medieval battle scene.

The argument over who was right took approximately fifteen minutes.

Kuro managed to resolve it.

Barely.

He then ran to the outdoor stage to find The Music Club on the verge of a mutiny.

Students were checking out cables.

Teachers were checking out speakers.

No one knew what was wrong.

Kuro started following the power line.

Ten seconds later, he found the problem.

A food stall had plugged in five different cooking appliances to the same power source.

As a result, the fuse had blown.

Seriously.

Kuro understood.

Once he got the problem fixed, Kuro ran to the Gaming Club.

The Environment felt like a funeral.

The players were completely concentrating on the black screens.

The organization for the tournament seemed hopeless.

"What went wrong?"

"The server crashed".

"Why?"

The student raised a hand.

"I might have deleted something by accident".

An silence filled the auditorium

"Well what exactly did you delete?"

"Everything".

Kuro looked up at the ceiling.

Kuro could tell the gods of the festival were laughing.

Kuro could sense it.

It was only 10:30 and Kuro had already gone across the entire campus four times.

Kuro’s step counter was terrified.

And it was about to get worse.

A lot worse.

The Principal mysteriously disappeared again.

No one could explain how.

No one could explain why.

But the principal was missing.

All of the teachers began looking throughout the building for the principal.

Twenty minutes later the principal was found.

In the Butler Cafe.

Eating cake.

And forgetting that he was supposed to be at a meeting.

Minami was on the verge of breaking down.

"How could this happen?"

No one had an answer.

Because no one knew.

And another surprise began developing during the festival.

Mina was now a celebrity.

For no apparent reason.

The original plan for this festival was to have the table tennis exhibition be a small attraction.

Absolutely nothing special.

And then Mina started to win.

Not because of skill.

Not because of strategy.

But because of her rocking jugs getting in the way of the players.

Continuously causing the opponents some kind of arousal

Each time.

A shot hit the edge of the table. Her breasts shook in the air as another ball bounced off the net.

A third shot struck a light fixture before landing properly on the ground.

The other contestants stared at her breasts with confusion and amazement while the audience enjoyed the show. As Mina’s confusion increased, so did her confidence.

"She is unbelievable!" the students said.

"No, she is lucky!"

"No, she is a genius!"

"No, she is confused!"

No one agreed on who she was, but with each passing moment Mina’s face turned red with tears.

"Kuro!" Kuro was just in time to see Lucina make yet another improbable score.

"How did you do that?" He silently pondered.

"I don’t know!" Mina shouted back.

That was most likely the right answer.

With that, the audience doubled, and soon after tripled.

Before too long, the Table Tennis Club had the largest audience in the gymnasium; the club president was crying with happiness, and Mina was crying for other reasons.

Kuro had been walking across campus approximately 15 times by that point, and his phone continued to ring. His legs were starting to file complaints when he ran into Minami.

Or what was left of Minami.

The normally elegant teacher was slumped against a bench, holding a little container of headache medication, and she looked completely drained.

"Kuro."

"Sensei".

"I had to take my medicine for pain twice."

"That sounds really bad."

"There’s still more than half of the festival to go."

"That’s even worse."

Minami was staring out at nothing.

Her expression suggested she was contemplating her profession.

Moments passed;

A different teacher approached.

"Asakura-sensei!"

Minami was clearly in distress.

"What happened?"

"Science club."

"What exploded this time?"

The teacher’s eyes blinked at her.

"How did you know anything exploded?"

Minami stood up very slowly.

"Experience."

Kuro almost laughed.

Almost.

The Science Club had actually done it again by creating some sort of explosion.

Although it didn’t hurt anyone.

Except to set off the fire alarm. The majority of the entire school was evacuated.

As a result, the guests who came were in total chaos.

Once again, the principal was nowhere to be found.

Nobody knew where he found himself this time.

All hell broke loose around festival time.

At lunchtime, Kuro had well over twenty thousand steps put into his pedometer.

He had ran around the whole high school at least twenty times over.

The football club was still operational,

The music club was still operational,

The gaming club was still operational,

The Science Club was operational but very unequally so.

In some way.

Defying all reasoning.

The Festival still exists.

For now.

Kuro has now found a place to sit by the fountain in the courtyard.

At least a brief period of serenity.

That was an error in judgment.

Only five seconds later, his phone rang once more.

Looking down at his phone.

Three notifications awaiting response.

Three problems.

All occurring at once.

Nearby, Minami popped another bottle of aspirin to relieve her headache.

Neither of them needed to look at those notifications.

They already possessed the knowledge.

The afternoon explosion of chaotic activity had officially begun.

And both of them had an overwhelming sense that worse shocks and disasters were still forthcoming.

Meanwhile , Aoi was the only person that didn’t get flustered by the chaos at the festival.

While students were running around panicking and teachers were struggling to keep control of the students, Aoi worked in the Butler Café without a care in the world. She did her job well and quickly; she took care of customers, served drinks, put supplies away, and resolved minor problems before they became big problems.

Whenever Akari was missing to avoid working, Aoi would find her within minutes and bring her back to the café without saying a word.

The staff had started to rely on Aoi without even realizing it.

Order lost?

Aoi.

Confused customer?

Aoi.

Out of supplies?

Aoi noticed that ten minutes ago.

Even Rika was impressed.

That is saying something.

At one time, Aoi saw Kuro run across the courtyard to yet another emergency with his cell phone on his ear and a box of supplies tucked under his arm.

The majority of individuals would have found the situation amusing.

However, Aoi felt a sense of frustration at the same time.

He keeps pushing his limits again and again.

Her silent action to prepare a bottle of water, set it aside, and prepare herself for the moment when he passed by once more.

Kuro will eventually come back into my café.

When that happens, I will compel him to stop I will do whatever it takes. That’s her thought.

Someone has to care for this individual who thinks he can do everything for this festival alone, (idiot).
