Song Zhining turned the crank on the roasting rack Su Qing had made himself.

The meat on it was almost done.

"This ox is really something else. It really does taste a lot better than the ones from the Mortal Realm," Song Zhining said, having eaten about his fill.

He had only eaten the meat from one leg.

He didn’t eat nearly as much as Su Qing.

"Thanks for the meal." After a smile, Song Zhining wiped the grease from the corner of his mouth.

"Mhm, see you." Su Qing nodded. ’Looks like he’s leaving.’

Su Qing gave a polite nod in return and continued eating the rest of the ox.

It wasn’t that Song Zhining had a small appetite, but that this Demon Beast ox was enormous—three meters tall. The size of a single leg was beyond what one would imagine for an ordinary ox.

By the time Su Qing had eaten half of it, he was already sick of the taste.
