Invisibility Potion—a Potion that, as its name suggested, rendered its user invisible for a short period of time.

Its duration was relatively short—only five minutes.

Even then, the effect wasn’t perfect.

If the user’s opponent was powerful enough, or if they were careless enough to cause any noise, the user could very well be discovered.

Despite these flaws, the Invisibility Potion remained one of the most sought-after Potions among Awakeners.

Few people could master its recipe.

Those who did were either high-ranked Awakeners or belonged to powerful and mysterious organizations.

One could imagine Selene’s surprise when she saw Aurelius’ body slowly turn invisible.

Within moments, his figure had disappeared from her sight.

Had she not seen him there before, she would have never believed that beside her stood a person.

"What are you looking at? You should understand that the Invisibility Potion’s duration is limited."

"Don’t make me waste its effects. I only have a few of them."

It was only when Aurelius’ voice echoed in her ears that she snapped back to reality.

Glancing at the vial in her hand, she recalled Aurelius’ earlier actions and did the same.

Aurelius nodded with satisfaction as he watched her figure dissipate.

This was a recipe he had found inside the box Homer had left him.

It was not the only one. There were several other recipes contained within the box.

Some could enhance the Awakener’s offensive power, others could grant them superior defense. Others could even be used like poison, while many had pure auxiliary abilities.

The recipes Homer had left behind were enough to become the foundation of a powerful organization.

For the situation he was currently facing, they were absolutely perfect.

’Fortunately, I was able to gather most of the materials in the Dryad Forest. As for those I couldn’t find, I was able to purchase them in the city’s many markets.’

’With these Potions, their chances of success are far greater than before,’ he breathed a sigh of relief.

When his focus returned to reality, he noticed that Selene’s figure had vanished completely.

Only the sound of her faint breathing lingered in the air, which soon disappeared without Aurelius needing to remind her.

"Let’s go! The invisibility will only last for five minutes."

"I only have one more set on me. Once they are both gone, we will have to fight head-on."

No one responded, but Aurelius could almost see an invisible head nod repeatedly.

He smiled faintly as he imagined this image before regaining his serious expression.

Waving his hand, he deliberately made some noise to communicate with Selene before looking toward the high stone walls of the large estate in front of him.

He sprang into action.

Soon, the pair arrived beneath the towering stone walls. They were more than ten feet high.

Under normal circumstances, it would have been difficult for any ordinary person to jump above them.

If they wished to enter the estate, they had to go through the only entrance.

Fortunately, neither of them was an ordinary person.

Selene was a trained Assassin and, although Aurelius was considered a "spellcaster", the combination of a Mythical Class and a Sub-Class made him no weaker than a Warrior.

Following an agile leap, Aurelius and Selene appeared on top of the stone walls.

Then, with a second leap, they landed inside the estate.

The mansion was silent.

Since Baron Murrow sold the estate in a panic, several nobles had purchased it, only to leave shortly after due to the rumored hauntings.

Although the Sunless Sect had chosen this place as their stronghold, they showed no sign of wanting to shatter that illusion.

There were no people in the garden.

It was only when Aurelius and Selene approached the main building that a few noises suddenly reached their ears.

"What is the Priest doing in the underground room? How come he ordered that no one should disturb him?"

"Don’t try to guess the Priest’s thoughts! We can’t guess His Excellency’s thoughts!"

"He must be working hard to advance our Sect’s goals and let this world bathe in His brilliance once more."

The voices were quiet at first, almost inaudible, but they quickly grew louder.

Soon, a pair of men walked out from the dark side of the building.

They didn’t notice the invisible pair standing only a few feet away.

They could never have guessed that someone had infiltrated their stronghold, much less that they were standing so close and inspecting them.

Aurelius’ gaze was focused on the two figures.

Or rather, on the interfaces hovering above their heads.

He nodded inwardly.

This matched the information he had obtained from Erwin. These cultists weren’t particularly strong. They had only recently become Awakeners.

Most likely, they were similar to Erwin, only becoming Blighted Ones after the Priest arrived in the Blood Sun City.

Aurelius’ eyes flickered. He hesitated for a split second.

But in the end, when his eyes landed on the countdown flashing at the edge of his vision and the red counter beneath it, his gaze grew decisive.

Suddenly, he burst into action.

Within a single moment, he had landed behind one of the two men. A silver dagger materialized in his hand, and he plunged it into his neck.

However, Aurelius didn’t pay attention to it at all.

He glanced at the second cultist, who had yet to notice anything, and was about to swing the dagger once again.

But just then, a muffled cry echoed.

In Aurelius’ eyes, the cultist seemed to have suffered a stroke.

His body collapsed to the ground and twitched for several seconds before losing all signs of vitality.

Only the thin stream of blood flowing from the small hole in his temple revealed what had happened.

Well... that and the voice that lingered in the air.

"You should give me a signal before taking action next time. Also, aren’t your preparations a little inadequate?"

"How can we cooperate in such a state? Couldn’t you have prepared a way to at least see each other while invisible?"

Selene’s voice was full of complaints.
