"Hah, instructions? My instruction is that not only are you leaving the goods, but you’re all going to die here," the tall, thin man said flatly.

Hearing this, the faces of everyone present changed dramatically!

Ma Chuan’s voice grew strained.

"Nope," Jiang Che said, shaking his head.

"You still have the heart to joke at a time like this."

The glimmer of hope Zhang Xiong had just felt was instantly extinguished. He shook his head with a wry smile, assuming Jiang Che was just trying to lighten the mood.

Jiang Che said nothing, simply walking straight toward the short, stout man.

"Jiang Che? What are you doing?" Zhang Xiong asked, confused.

"I’ll be borrowing your blade," Jiang Che said suddenly as he walked past Ma Chuan.

"Huh?" Ma Chuan glanced down, only to see that the blade at his waist was gone!

He looked up again and saw the blade was already in Jiang Che’s hand!

Ma Chuan was stunned. The movement had been so fast he hadn’t even had time to react!

Jiang Che held the blade. It felt weightless in his hand, and he wasn’t quite used to it.
