In an instant, the charging, roaring bandits were scared out of their wits.

"Don’t throw your lives away! Let the big boss finish him!" a bandit shouted, scrambling back in a panic.

Xu Yang pointed his finger again. A blast of Gang Qi shot out, skewering two bandits as if on a spit.

With a flash of his feet, he charged into the crowd like a thunderbolt. A series of THUDS rang out as figures were sent flying amidst screams of agony. The sound of cracking bones was incessant.

"Those with Qi Gathering Cultivation, fall back! Let the Gang Qi masters handle this!" Tang Chuan shouted.

He had no intention of making a move himself. ’If I, the big boss, have to do everything, what’s the point of feeding all these men?’

In that instant, four or five figures radiating surging Gang Qi leaped over the crowd, blasting Xu Yang with Gang Qi from a distance.

Gang Qi erupted from the soles of Xu Yang’s feet. With a flicker, his figure vanished.

The blasts of Gang Qi landed where he had been standing, gouging a large crater in the ground. A few unlucky bandits nearby were caught in the shockwave and sent flying with screams of pain.

One man seized the opportunity while Xu Yang was killing his companion, lunging forward with an attack. The long saber in his hand glowed red as he chopped straight for Xu Yang’s head.

Amidst a spray of blood and flesh, gore gushed out.

He frantically tried to cover his neck, but it was no use. Blood streamed unstoppable through his fingers, instantly dyeing his clothes red as his body slumped lifelessly to the ground.

A few mournful roars echoed as a group of bandits stared, their eyes wide with fury.

The newcomer was so ferocious, killing two Gang Qi Martial Artists in an instant.

Another man had already used this opportunity to get close to Xu Yang, striking his back with a palm.

Gang Qi erupted, blasting the ground apart and pulverizing the earth around them.

A fierce gale roared through the air. Before the palm even landed, the immense pressure had already forced the man’s legs to buckle. He ignored his broken hand, scrambling backward in a desperate retreat.

Accompanied by the crisp sound of splintering bone, Xu Yang’s immense power drove the man’s head straight into his own chest cavity. The sight was absolutely terrifying.

The two remaining Gang Qi Martial Artists were scared witless. They stopped dead in their tracks, their eyes fixed on Xu Yang in sheer terror.

How long had it been? Three Gang Qi Martial Artists had fallen to this man, each dispatched in a single, overwhelmingly powerful move.

"You animal, die!"

Meng Yuanshu roared, his killing intent surging as Gang Mang flickered all over his body.

He too had never imagined that five Gang Qi Martial Artists attacking at once would be cut down so easily. This man had killed three of them in an instant, as if slaughtering chickens and dogs.

While still in mid-air, he launched a fist projection at Xu Yang from a distance.

The condensed, almost tangible fist projection tore through the air, releasing a tyrannical aura in its wake that sent the grunts of Qingfeng Stronghold staggering back, coughing up blood.

"Third Chieftain, kill him!" someone shouted.

Xu Yang’s ferocity had already struck terror into their hearts. If the three chieftains didn’t act now, everyone would be slaughtered.

Xu Yang’s body suddenly vanished. The fist projection missed, blasting another large crater into the ground.

He pointed a finger. The fourth Gang Qi Martial Artist’s eyes went wide as he looked down to see a finger-sized bloody hole in his own chest.

The Pure Essence Gold-Splitting Finger was a more refined technique than even the Phantom Star Gang Fist or the Fiery Sun Gang Saber. Though he had only reached Minor Achievement in it, when empowered by Xu Yang’s Golden Gang Qi, its might was terrifying. One finger, one Gang Qi Martial Artist—their Protective Gang Qi might as well have been for show.

"Not good!"

The last Gang Qi Martial Artist turned pale with fright, realizing that Xu Yang intended to kill all of them before dealing with the three chieftains.

Gang Qi erupted from his feet. He shot into the air like a great bird, rushing toward Tang Chuan.

But while he was still in mid-air, a blast of Gang Qi shot out from his chest. All the strength in his body receded like a tide.

THUD!

The lifeless corpse fell to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust. All five of the Qingfeng Stronghold bandits who had reached the Initial Stage of Gang Qi were dead.

"All of you, attack! Flay him alive for me!" Tang Chuan roared.

Although the bandits were scared out of their minds, they steeled themselves and charged toward Xu Yang.

"Kill!"

"Chop him to pieces and feed him to the dogs!"

A grunt roared, his saber flashing in a dazzling display.

Lu Lin also wanted to charge Xu Yang, but Tang Chuan grabbed his shoulder, holding him back.

His heart couldn’t help but tremble. He knew Tang Chuan intended to sacrifice these grunts. ’After all,’ he thought, ’someone from the Purple Sun Sect is here. Even if we kill this disciple today, Qingfeng Stronghold is finished.’

True Qi surged. Xu Yang’s vision was filled with the glint of flashing blades.

’I was worried they might flee, leaving survivors,’ Xu Yang thought. ’I never expected Tang Chuan to order them all to their deaths.’

’In that case, I can finally cut loose and kill without restraint.’

A tyrannical aura erupted from him like a volcano. Xu Yang charged forward, striking out with his palm as a pale yellow Gang Qi burst forth.

A chorus of screams erupted. The men at the front were violently blasted to pieces. With a single palm strike, four or five men were beaten to death on the spot.

Xu Yang was a tiger among sheep. Fists, palms, and fingers flew, and with every strike, another man was sent flying.

The sabers that came hacking down on him not only failed to break through his Protective Gang Qi but were shattered by the impact.

Tang Chuan and Lu Lin watched this scene in silence. Only Meng Yuanshu repeatedly closed in to trade blows with Xu Yang, but not only did he fail to stop the slaughter, he ended up killing quite a few of his own men with the aftershocks of their clashes.

A short while later, the ground at Xu Yang’s feet was littered with corpses, the earth dyed red with blood. Aside from the three chieftains, dozens of Qingfeng Stronghold bandits all lay dead.

"Big Brother, why?!" Meng Yuanshu demanded, his eyes blazing with fury.

He had long since noticed that Tang Chuan was intentionally letting this Purple Sun Sect disciple kill their men, and he couldn’t help but question him loudly.

Tang Chuan waved his hand dismissively and looked at Xu Yang. "To have such skill at Gang Qi Minor Achievement, you must be one of the geniuses on the Ten Heroes List. Might I ask which one you are?"

’What’s wrong with this guy? Still spouting nonsense in the middle of a fight.’

Xu Yang didn’t speak. He activated Stepping on Gang and Chasing Wind and vanished.

"Third Brother, watch out!" Lu Lin roared, his own body suddenly disappearing.

CLANG!

The sound of a Treasure Sword being unsheathed rang out. A rain of sword light fell, enveloping Xu Yang and forcing his speeding body to a halt.

Lu Lin, the second chieftain of Qingfeng Stronghold, had been immersed in Sword Technique for over a decade. His swordsmanship was versatile, fierce, and swift.

"Get lost!" Xu Yang roared.

He had planned to kill Meng Yuanshu first before dealing with Lu Lin and Tang Chuan, but now he was forced to change his target.

His pale yellow Protective Gang Qi enveloped his entire body. He let the rain of sword light bombard him, producing a series of DINGs and DANGs as every attack was blocked by his Gang Qi.

"Not good!"

Lu Lin’s expression changed mid-air. He felt his wrist go numb, and he could barely hold onto his sword.

’This Golden Gang Qi is far more terrifying than I ever imagined.’

’I’ve been immersed in Sword Technique for decades and can even produce sword light, yet I can’t even break through this man’s Protective Gang Qi. How am I supposed to fight him?’

The sword light shattered. The air boomed as a large hand, wreathed in pale yellow Gang Qi, punched through the air, tearing through the sword light and striking directly at him. Lu Lin desperately pulled his Treasure Sword back, trying to block.
