Tiny beads of sweat appeared on his forehead as he lowered his voice.

"How did you find this place?"

"Jiajia? What are you doing here?"

He reached out to grab her arm, but she shook him off.

"This is my dad’s home. Why can’t I be here?"

Cao Jiajia said, enunciating every single word.
