Lyerin tilted his head back, gazing up at the mesmerizing expanse above. The floating islands hovered like celestial fortresses in the air, their edges crowned with waterfalls that cascaded down endlessly into the unknown. Some of the islands glowed faintly, bathed in a golden light that seemed to emanate from the rocks themselves, while others shimmered with silvery hues, as if stars had descended to call them home.

Sophia shook her head. “No, we need to take a systematic approach. First, we survey the area, then map out key points of interest before diving into exploration.”

Lydia laughed. “Systematic? That’s boring! Let’s just wander and see where the adventure takes us!”

Fiona smirked. “I say we find the highest point on the islands and claim it as our own. Who doesn’t want to stand on top of the world?”

“I’d like to find a quiet spot and just… breathe,” Emily said softly. “To feel the purity of the air Lyerin described.”

“And I want to find out if there are any inhabitants,” Natalie concluded. “Maybe they have stories or knowledge we can learn from.”
