"...It’s not even reacting anymore," Ethan said slowly.

Seraphine nodded.

"No."

Ethan frowned slightly.

"...That doesn’t make sense."

"It does," she replied calmly.

"If you are no longer part of the system’s causal structure."

Ethan slowly clenched his fist.

Black and white energy flickered faintly between his fingers.

He tried to release it outward.

Seraphine corrected him immediately.
