Coach Togo nodded with a serious expression, swinging his legs as he said, "Yes, I intend to provide you with some... guidance, Manager Nanao."

He glanced at Akane, his gaze lingering over her figure despite her loose school uniform. "I’ve heard you’re dating Katase Shouya on the side. To prevent young people like you two from acting impulsively out of passion, I’m willing to teach you how to handle such situations."

As he spoke, Togo’s expression turned sinister, and he licked his lips.

Akane’s eyes flashed with anger. She immediately crossed her arms over her chest, exclaiming, "Coach Togo! How dare you speak like that? You’re out of line, and I won’t hesitate to report this to other teachers if you keep talking like this."

She thought her threat would deter him.

But Togo just chuckled, completely unfazed. "Oh? Are you really willing to watch your dear Shouya Katase get in trouble because you wouldn’t cooperate?"

Akane’s expression changed in an instant. "What are you talking about?"

Togo leaned back in his chair, giving her a smug look. "You see, I’m the baseball team’s coach. If another coach knew of your little secret relationship, how long do you think Shouya would last in the club? One call from me, and he’s out."

He leaned in closer. "And imagine—missing out on his last chance to play in the high school championships."

He paused, then added slowly, "Manager Nanao, you wouldn’t want your boyfriend to be kicked out of the baseball club, would you?"

Akane’s face went pale. Her hands trembled slightly as she stammered, "I...I..."

Her heart was torn between protecting her dignity and protecting the person she cared about. She struggled to decide what to do, feeling her resolve waver.

Togo watched her reaction, completely satisfied. In his mind, this was the difference between adults and kids. He knew she didn’t stand a chance.

Just as he was about to gloat further, a calm voice broke the tension. "You wouldn’t want the entire school to know that you’ve been threatening female students, would you, Coach Togo?"

Both Akane and Coach Togo turned in surprise toward the voice.

Standing at the warehouse entrance was a tall, handsome boy with a confident smirk, his phone raised as he walked in. It was Hikari.

Akane’s face lit up in astonishment. "Hikari...?"

Ignoring her, Hikari locked eyes with Togo, who was visibly rattled.

"What are you doing here?" Togo demanded.

Hikari only smiled and shrugged. "Oh, just recording what I need to. As for you... it’s funny you thought you could intimidate people with this little scheme."

With that, Hikari tapped his phone, playing back the video he had recorded of Togo’s threats. The coach’s face appeared onscreen, his voice crystal clear as he made his intentions and threats known.

Watching himself on camera, Togo’s face drained of color. He stammered, "You... You’re trying to meddle in my business? You don’t know who you’re messing with, kid! I could—"

Hikari raised an eyebrow, unbothered. "Coach Togo, do you have any idea what happens when this kind of footage goes public? Forcing students into sexual guidance? At best, you’re fired. At worst, you’re looking at time behind bars."

Akane glanced at Hikari, and her heart lightened as she saw Togo trembling slightly. She couldn’t believe this boy was handling the situation so smoothly.

Togo’s voice softened. "Then... then what do you want?"

Seeing the coach finally losing his nerve, Hikari smirked. "Me? I don’t actually like going to extremes. After all, this doesn’t just affect you. It affects Akane-san and Shouya as well."

He gestured to Akane, addressing the coach. "So here’s the deal: I won’t post this video on the condition that you don’t ever try something like this with Akane or any other student. But, Coach, I think an apology is in order. Right here, right now."

Akane felt a surge of relief and admiration for Hikari. He’d considered her feelings and Katase Shouya’s future without her even asking. She looked at him with gratitude, feeling as if a huge weight had been lifted.

Hikari, on the other hand, wasn’t doing this out of any high-minded morality. He just didn’t want Togo to get away so easily. Exposing the video would lead to Togo’s expulsion or even arrest, but that punishment felt too lenient for someone so shameless.

Togo, interpreting Hikari’s motives as concern for Akane and Shouya, gave a forced smile and said, "Yes, yes. This is good; we can both take a step back."

He swallowed hard, then reluctantly knelt before Hikari. "I apologize for my attitude."

Seeing the arrogant Coach Togo kneeling in submission, Akane couldn’t help covering her mouth in disbelief.

Hikari, though, wasn’t surprised at all. To him, men like Togo were predictable. They would kneel today to save their skin, but that didn’t mean he’d stay out of trouble forever. In Hikari’s mind, there would come a day when he’d deal with Togo more permanently.

Togo got up and put on a forced smile. "Now, about that... I’d like a word with Hikari privately. Manager Nanao, you may return for now."
