The current situation was a complete mess! Up front was the frenzied Golden Core Demon Beast, the Purple-Scaled Cloud Lizard, beating Qin Lie and his band of guards like grandsons; the battle array was on the verge of collapsing. Behind them, Scarface and his group of Loose Cultivators were like hyenas smelling blood, hiding in the mist with glowing green eyes, waiting for both sides to suffer so they could swoop in and pick up the scraps.

Qin Lie shouted at the top of his lungs for Fang Hao to take the Little County Princess and run first, but Fang Hao knew better. Run? Run where? This broken platform was only about the size of a butt; three sides were a ten-thousand-foot sea of clouds, and jumping down would likely turn one into a meat patty. The remaining side was a mountain wall as steep as if carved by a knife, impossible to climb. The only way out might be the earth hole the beast crawled out of, but that hole was pitch black—who knew where it led? It might lead straight to the Demon Beast’s nest, which would be like delivering food to its door.

"Damn it, can’t run, have to fight!" Fang Hao gritted his teeth, his heart turning ruthless. He quickly scanned the battlefield, his gaze shifting between the rampaging beast, the anxious Qin Lie, and the group of Loose Cultivators smirking in the distance. With no other options, he could only treat a dead horse as if it were alive! He roared: "Change formation! Engage in skirmish! Retreat toward the mountain wall!"

Although the guards didn’t understand, they followed orders strictly. They immediately changed their strategy, no longer clashing head-on but using movement techniques and combined attack skills to fight while retreating, slowly leading the Purple-Scaled Cloud Lizard toward the mountain wall on the inner side of the platform. The Demon Beast, not being very intelligent and constantly harassed, grew even more furious, roaring as it pursued them relentlessly.

"Heh, these big guys are about to lose their grip!" a Loose Cultivator with a sharp chin and monkey-like features grinned. "Once that Purple-Scaled Cloud Lizard finishes them off, we’ll go up and scavenge! That little girl has delicate skin and tender flesh; she’ll definitely fetch a high price!"

Scarface licked his lips, greed flashing in his eyes: "No rush, let them wear each other out a bit longer. Pay attention, don’t let that girl escape in the chaos..."

Before he could finish his sentence, he felt a sudden gust of foul wind from behind! A cold killing intent instantly enveloped him!

Fang Hao didn’t look back. Pulling the Little County Princess and followed by the Nanny, they were like three sharp arrows, reaching the edge of the hole in an instant! The hole was about ten feet in diameter, pitch black and bottomless, emitting a cold aura.

"Jump!" Without hesitation, Fang Hao grabbed the Little County Princess’s waist and leaped down! The Nanny also gritted her teeth and followed!

The figures of the three were instantly swallowed by the darkness.
