The story of Rain Master Shangyang isn’t actually complicated.

A thousand years ago, during the Southward migration of the Huai River Witch to the Hundred Lands Mountain Range, they passed through Tufang Kingdom.

Of course, back then, Tufang Kingdom didn’t even qualify as the "Tufang Tribe," just a small village of gathered mountain people.

Before the arrival of the Huai River Witch, Rain Master was the deity protecting those mountain people.

But the Huai River Witch couldn’t escape the fate of being divided and consumed either.

Thus, the current new structure and order of the Hundred Lands Mountain Range was formed.

"This is the first time I’ve heard about your background, why didn’t you tell me this before?"

The one who asked this wasn’t Li Boyang, but Xiluo, who listened quietly on the side.

If she had known about the connection between Rain Master and the Huai River Witch earlier, she would have at least treated him better in terms of attitude.
