Miao Yan declared.

Dan Hua was startled, a cold aura emanated from him, his eyes turned sharp, and he looked towards Lu Yan, saying, "Is what Elder Miao Yan said true?"

Lu Yan remained silent, his True Vigor running secretly, ready to flee at any moment.

Seeing this, Dan Hua knew that what Miao Yan had said was correct.

"I once said if you harbored malicious schemes I would personally put an end to you, do you remember that?"

Though Dan Hua felt regret, his eyes still revealed a murderous intent.

"There’s no need for Brother Dan Hua to take action, I will deal with him. After all, he deceived me first."

Miao Yan said, stepping forward, the power of the rules surging around him, his powerful aura locking onto Lu Yan.

Suddenly, a thunderous roar ripped through the air, growing from distant to near, and a terrifying presence enveloped everything and shrouded Skull Fire Mountain within it.

With a piercing cry, a gigantic firebird soared into the sky from the peak of Skull Fire Mountain.

This firebird, with wings spanning nearly ten thousand meters, was adorned with dazzling feathers, very similar to the ones on Chi Luan’s dress hem.

Lu Yan knew that this was the Master of Skull Fire Mountain, Chi Luan’s mother.

The two beasts battled in the sky, the spectacle was terrifying, causing Skull Fire Mountain to quiver. Had it not been for the protection of the array, the aftershocks alone would have obliterated any below Immortality.

With a loud noise, the fiery palm was blocked, and Lu Yan and Shen Yinuo were thrown back, smashing into the cliffside. The rock face shattered, and debris flew in all directions.

As he had been focused on dissolving Shen Yinuo’s Soul Ban, he could summon only limited power on such short notice, hence being overpowered.

"You think you can escape? Die, both of you. Wench, once I kill this brat, I will make you enjoy it...," Miao Yan’s eyes blazed with lust as he fixed his gaze on Shen Yinuo, his aura growing ever more intense.

Eventually, he transformed into a flaming battle sword that slashed at Lu Yan.

Lu Yan circulated his Body Refining Martial Arts, revealing a Five-Colored Battle Knife in his palm, slashing out dozens of times.

Shen Yinuo, too, summoned the Great Sun Melting Furnace, charging at those flaming sword lights.
