"I’ll call you Yiyi then." Lin Haoren calmly smiled and welcomed them inside his home, "Since you are both already here, come in and sit down. I’ll get started on cooking."

Bai Yiyi and Su Xiaoran were guided inside, and their eyes wandered around curiously, taking in every sight.

It wasn’t Su Xiaoran’s first visit, but her behavior was no different from Bai Yiyi’s.

The apartment seemed a little different, though she wasn’t sure what had changed since her last visit. How strange.

When they sat down on the cheap sofa, their bodies subconsciously relaxed, finding their most natural and comfortable positions.

As expected, there was something special about Lin Haoren and even his home. They both possessed a comfortable aura.

"Where’s Oreo?"

Su Xiaoran scanned the room, but the tuxedo cat didn’t seem to be present. Of course, it had gone into hiding the moment it realized its home was raided.

"Probably hiding in the bedroom. Oreo, come out and receive the guests," Lin Haoren called out from the kitchen.

Moments later, a tuxedo cat slowly strolled out. It briefly glanced in Lin Haoren’s direction with a look of betrayal and resentment.

Dammit, it was sold out again!

"Pftt! Hahaha!" Bai Yiyi couldn’t help but laugh when she saw this scene. "Brother Lin, your cat is so interesting. It has such rich expressions."

Oreo glanced at Bai Yiyi with contempt, thinking, "Can’t cats have rich expressions?"

Bai Yiyi didn’t mind its contempt and laughed even more.

This tuxedo cat was truly one of a kind. It seemed to understand human speech very well. Its intelligence was very high.

"Come here, cutie. Let me hold you," Bai Yiyi approached.

Oreo raised its paw and hissed in warning, prompting Bai Yiyi’s courage to deflate. She was afraid to approach it like this.

"Oreo, be nice," Lin Haoren instructed.

However, before Bai Yiyi had a chance to scoop it up, Su Xiaoran swooped in and took Oreo into her arms, full of smiles.

Lin Haoren paused for a moment and said, "Probably another later tonight."

The eyes of Bai Yiyi and Su Xiaoran immediately lit up.

"Brother Lin, can we stay after dinner and watch you film? Is that okay?" Bai Yiyi pleaded.

"Are you sure?" Lin Haoren glanced over from the kitchen and casually said, "It might be quite boring. I still need to teach Oreo new tricks."

"It won’t be boring!" Bai Yiyi and Su Xiaoran spoke at the same time, their eyes oozing anticipation.

"Well... Alright, then."

"Hooray!"

Bai Yiyi and Su Xiaoran cheered happily after receiving Lin Haoren’s permission.

Forty minutes later, dinner was served.

"Wash your hands and come eat," Lin Haoren said, setting the dishes down at the dining table.

There was Tomato and Scrambled Eggs, Kung Pao Chicken, Beef with Broccoli, and Garlic Boy Choy—all were simple stir-fried dishes, quick and easy.

All served with rice.

The pleasant aroma quickly filled the air, and Su Xiaoran licked her lips, feeling her rising appetite.

Bai Yiyi glanced at the homemade dishes and felt surprised. She hadn’t watched Lin Haoren cook, but his cooking seemed to be approaching restaurant-quality food.

"So good! Even better than last time!"

Su Xiaoran took the first bite of the Kung Pao Chicken and writhed in pure bliss. The taste of excellent home-cooked meals just hits differently.

"If it’s good, then eat more," Lin Haoren smiled warmly.

Seeing his cooking bring happiness to others also filled his heart with joy.

"Mm!" Su Xiaoran nodded obediently.

"With this level of cooking, I think you can open your own restaurant, Brother Lin."

Bai Yiyi gave her honest opinion after tasting his cooking. It would be a pity if she couldn’t eat it often.

"You’re exaggerating," Lin Haoren casually dismissed.

It was just intermediate-level cooking that was nearing advanced-level cooking.

Bai Yiyi was more conscious of her weight and ate less, but it was still more than her usual intake.

"Let me help you clean up, Brother Lin," she offered.

"It’s fine, you’re a guest. Just go and play with Oreo. Leave this stuff to me," Lin Haoren refused, playfully adding, "If you don’t listen to me, I’ll get angry."

Bai Yiyi stuck out her tongue and went to join Su Xiaoran.

Lin Haoren didn’t want to miss the chance to earn some proficiency points for his Housekeeping Skill.

Shortly after, he joined the two ladies by the sofa with a tray of drinks and refreshments for everyone. They also eagerly awaited his arrival. They scooted over, making some room for him.

"Brother Lin, what do you plan to film with Oreo?"

"I’m going to teach Oreo Tai Chi first, then record our little spar."

"Teaching Tai Chi?"

Bai Yiyi and Su Xiaoran were taken aback by Lin Haoren’s answer.
