Eternal Paragon Of Slaughter

On a vast, elevated platform stood an elderly figure, his hands clasped behind his back. Behind him, seven children stood silently, their gazes fixed ahead. Beneath the platform, nearly twenty meters below, lay rows of metal-barred jails. Within them, a mixture of humans-women, children, youths, and the elderly huddled together in fear and confusion.

Among the group on the platform stood a young man, his eyes locked on the scene below. As he observed the miserable figures imprisoned beneath, old memories surged in his mind like an unstoppable tide.

"From my transmigration from Earth to this strange world, where cultivation and immortality are within reach through spiritual energy... a world where formation masters roam the heavens and dominate all directions... and now, this new life of mine..."

Raising his head, he looked up at the sky, his eyes slowly closing as the weight of remembrance settled on him.

He drew in a deep breath.

"And yet, here I am again. Same place. Same trial. The only difference is... the me of today is not a saint. I'm no longer just a man of Earth with noble ideals. No... I've changed."

His expression darkened as he recalled the brutal experiences he had faced.

"I've been through hell,life-and-death situations that stripped me of my so-called righteousness. In a world where people claim superiority simply because they absorbed more spiritual energy or learned a few formations... a world where they abandon their humanity in the pursuit of power.

How ironic. How laughable. We humans forget our humanity and become demons... just to survive the demons around us."

With that, Lin Fan slowly opened his eyes, a deep sigh leaving his lips.

"In such a world... I have changed for my survival. I became the very demon I once hated. And while I tried to tell myself I wasn't as far gone as the others, I conveniently forgot that the people I killed were humans too. Just like me.
