Outside the field practice base, the trees were lush and green.

Sunlight filtered through the gaps in the emerald leaves, scattering across them. It gilded the girl’s delicate eyelashes, so close they seemed countable.

A gentle breeze blew past, and Qin Muye caught a rich, sweet scent that intertwined with his own.

The young man’s head spun, a wave of dizziness washing over him.

After several seconds, he finally made out the teasing smile in her eyes.

The Prince realized she was teasing him.

Jiang Qingli let go of his arm and patted his head. "Just teasing."

Qin Muye turned back to look at her, his lips pressed into a thin line, saying nothing.

"Don’t be upset." Jiang Qingli gently cupped his face, patiently explaining, "Gu Nian is younger than me, so it’s only natural for him to call me ’sis’. If you want to, you can call me that, too."

Qin Muye let out a heavy huff.

He didn’t sprout any ears.

But Jiang Qingli could have sworn she saw a little snow leopard forcefully smacking its tail on the ground to express its displeasure.

Yet he wasn’t completely angry; his gaze still darted toward her face from the corner of his eye.

Jiang Qingli couldn’t help but laugh.

Jiang Qingli hadn’t expected him to think she was calling him unhygienic. She blinked, then couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

"What are you laughing at?" Qin Muye grew anxious. "If you don’t believe me, you can watch me tomorrow and see if I shower or not."

"Why would I want to watch you shower? I’m not going to reward you."

A smile playing on her lips, Jiang Qingli clasped her hands behind her back and walked briskly toward the practice grounds.

Qin Muye hurried to catch up, sneaking a sniff of his own clothes along the way.

’It clearly smells fresh!’

Walking side-by-side with her under the shade of the trees, Qin Muye’s gaze naturally fell upon her.

He remembered her teasing him earlier, telling him to "call me sis."

Qin Muye lowered his eyes, the tips of his ears burning.

He was a year older than Jiang Qingli.

But... he never said he wouldn’t.

Su Jue hung up, thanking his lucky stars. When he looked up again, his expression was one of triumphant relief.

Just as he was about to leave the restroom, he suddenly felt a chill from behind.

He whipped his head around, but there was only the empty restroom behind him, not a soul in sight.

Su Jue possessed an S Level Superpower and had a strong sense of danger. He immediately closed his eyes and used his Wind Ability to feel the air currents around him.

However, five minutes passed, and aside from the wind feeling a little stagnant, he didn’t sense anyone’s presence.

Su Jue breathed a sigh of relief, thinking he had overreacted.

Just as he was about to leave, he saw a hand materialize out of thin air in the mirror, reaching straight for his neck from behind!

Su Jue’s eyes widened. He leaped back, barely dodging the hand.

He suddenly understood why he hadn’t sensed anyone’s presence. The owner of the hand had a Space Ability! They had been hiding in another dimension, only tearing through space just now to attack him!

"Who are you?!" Su Jue demanded harshly.

The hand retracted back into thin air.

The palpable killing intent grew even stronger.

Su Jue wasn’t about to just lie down and die. He summoned his Superpower.

Air began to circulate rapidly, swirling around him as the epicenter. The potted plants on either side of the sink were blown away, their pots cracking and sending soil flying. It was an intimidating display.

A contemptuous chuckle suddenly echoed through the room.

The next moment, space tore open, and the hand reached for Su Jue once more—

"Hey! What are you doing in there?! The use of Superpowers is forbidden on academy grounds!" A guard, drawn by the noise, was about to walk in.

The hand paused, then withdrew a second before the guard appeared.

The academy was equipped with Superpower detection devices, so any activity was discovered immediately.

"Captain, it’s that scumbag who was peeping on the female earlier!" a guard in the security room shouted, pointing at a flashing red dot on the screen. "He dares to use his Superpower in the academy! Is he trying to get revenge on us?!"

The bear-like security captain’s eyes widened. "He’s really asking for it!" He shot to his feet, his two-meter frame radiating menace. "Let’s go! I’ll drag him to the station myself!"

A few minutes later, a group of guards rushed in and tied him up.

As he was dragged away by the bear-like captain, Su Jue actually felt a sense of relief.

He had a premonition.

If the security captain hadn’t discovered him, that person just now... they would have killed him right here in the academy!

His opponent’s ability had to be S Level as well. But the most terrifying thing was their killing intent. It was like the sharpest, most brutal blade, honed through countless life-or-death struggles.
