At first, it was light—soft brushes of lips that barely lingered. But each time Grayson leaned in again, it lasted a heartbeat longer.

After a few times, Grayson leaned in again, but this time much slower and unhurried. It was like he already knew that Neville wouldn’t pull away.

"You—" Neville said, voice low.

Grayson didn’t pull away after a kiss. He just hovered there, close enough that Neville could feel his breath.

He hummed in amusement, his lips brushing Neville’s again.

Neville pulled back slightly. "You’re doing this on purpose."

Grayson smiled against his mouth. "Doing what?"

This kiss brushed his lips again, softer, almost innocent. Neville felt it sink in sweetly to his heart, prickling dangerously. Each fleeting kiss felt like a challenge to his bottom line—asking how much he would allow before snapping.

Grayson smiled like that was the point. "Am I?"

"Don’t ig—" But before Neville could say something, Grayson kissed him again.

Neville felt something snap inside him.

That’s it.

With a quiet click of his tongue, he braced his hand against the couch and tightened their intertwined fingers. He propped himself up closer just as Grayson tried to pull away.

"Don’t—" Neville said, and the kiss landed firmly.

The moment their lips met, Grayson let out a low chuckle. Neville could feel it vibrate through his chest, warm and pleased, like he had won something.

"There it is." A breath of laughter brushed Neville’s mouth.

Neville frowned and didn’t say anything, reaching for Grayson’s sleeve. His fingers curled tight as he kept his balance.

Grayson laughed even more into the kiss, a low sound that Neville felt more than heard.

Neville pulled back half an inch, scowling. "Don’t sound so smug."

"Unfair," Grayson murmured, leaning in for another kiss.

But Neville pulled back just enough to glare. "Seriously?"

Grayson didn’t answer and reached for the back of his head. He just tilted his head and kissed him again, deeper this time, giving a little nip on Neville’s lower lip.

A sigh of pleasure escaped from Neville’s mouth, making his breath stutter a little.

"...Damn it," Neville whispered as he felt the heat creeping up his neck.

Grayson took the opportunity to slip his tongue past Neville’s lips. Neville was so surprised that he unconsciously pressed his lips together.

But Grayson didn’t give him time to recover. His tongue was already brushing against Neville’s lips in a slow and deliberate motion, but not forceful. It was an infuriatingly patient way, as if he already knew Neville would give in one way or another.

Neville only hesitated for a second before sighing in defeat, parting his lips to let him in.

The kiss deepened naturally after that.

Grayson’s hands settled at Neville’s back, steady, anchoring him. Neville let himself lean in, arms sliding up around Grayson’s neck without conscious thought.

Grayson’s hand trailed down with his tail as a support. He managed to insert his hand inside Neville’s shirt, making the other all ticklish. His hand crept up and reached for Neville’s nipples, rubbing and playing with them as he pleased.

When they finally separated, Neville exhaled through his nose, eyes unfocused. His lips felt numb, swollen, and thoroughly conquered after what must have been the fifth—or was it sixth?—round of deep kisses.

Neville was breathing hard while Grayson was diving his way down, nipping his nipple between his lips over his shirt.

"We’re... stop..." Neville managed to say in between breaths, his body tingling with pleasure.

Grayson rested his forehead against Neville’s chest. "You’re thinking too hard," sucking his nipple a little, making that part of the shirt wet and see-through.

"I mean it," Neville said, trembling with his voice lacking in conviction.

Grayson hummed noncommittally while busily doing his business with Neville’s other nipple.

"I’m serious." Neville huffed quietly and clicked his tongue, pushing Grayson’s head up lightly to see his eyes directly. "I just ate, and I don’t want to have stomach problems later. Understood?"

Grayson considered him for a moment. Even though he was displeased about this situation, he couldn’t do anything about it.

In the end, he sighed, resigned as he put his hands out of Neville’s shirt.

"Hey—" Neville stiffened as Grayson straightened his shirt, but the wetness was still there.

Grayson leaned in and kissed him on the lips, his arms now wrapped around Neville’s waist.

Neville shot him a look and narrowed his eyes.

After having his semi-filled of ’compensation’ kisses, Grayson stopped trying to undress him. Due to the sudden agreeable and cooperative attitude, Neville had reason to suspect that there was an expiration time for this ’rest’ time.

Sure enough, Grayson didn’t continue to argue but smiled instead. He moved Neville until he was sitting on his lap again, not straddling. Neville’s back was completely pressed against Grayson’s chest, wrapped securely in his arms like a teddy bear.

"A compromise," Grayson said casually.

Neville stared ahead. "...This is not—"

"But you didn’t protest fast enough," Grayson replied, amused.

Neville closed his eyes, exhaling slowly. Grayson’s chin brushed his shoulder as if to comfort him. Being in this position just made Neville sure that this was just the calm before the storm.

Grayson’s tail draped across Neville’s lap as it belonged there.

Neville flinched and moved a little.

Grayson’s breath slightly hitched behind him.

Neville tried to move or even turn his head around, but Grayson firmly stopped him in place.

"This is you behaving," Grayson whispered near his ear. "And this is me behaving."

"Don’t—" Neville said as a warning.

"—I will not do anything."

Grayson chuckled quietly as he saw the slight bulge in Neville’s pants. "Yours isn’t exactly calm either."

Flustered, Neville leaned his back against a more comfortable position and stopped. He understood what Grayson was talking about, and he could feel everything even if he didn’t say anything.

That large, hard bulging part was grazing his butt every time he moved, so it was hard to ignore. He could feel Grayson reacting to his movements, so it was hard to move casually.

A quiet breath of laughter came from behind him. "Relax. If you move again, that’s on you."

"...not helping," Neville muttered, but didn’t move.

Not because he couldn’t—but because Grayson was right.

Grayson’s lips brushed against the top of his hair. "I know."
