- Chapter 1: Tiny Life in the Miniature Project
Clayne stared at the broken window for several moments before finally letting out a slow breath.
"What the hell was that..."
His eyes remained fixed toward the shattered glass and claw marks surrounding the frame. Earlier, the creature had actually climbed all the way up the building wall just to enter through the fourth floor window.
That thought alone felt horrifying.
Even now, the image still lingered inside his mind.
An undead creature crawling against walls like a spider while searching for prey.
Just imagining countless of those things swarming the building already made his scalp feel numb.
Fortunately...
"It was weak."
Clayne muttered quietly afterward.
If the mysterious girl outside wearing a school uniform heard those words, she probably would have vomited blood from anger instantly. To ordinary survivors, fully mutated undead creatures were already nightmares capable of slaughtering fully armed groups of humans easily with modern weapons.
Yet to Clayne...
After cultivation and spiritually enhanced weapons...
It only felt troublesome.
Still...
He did not become arrogant.
Instead, Clayne slowly narrowed his eyes afterward.
"It seems I really need to cultivate faster..."
His fingers unconsciously tightened around the tile fragments.
"And learn stronger fighting techniques faster too if I want to survive this apocalypse."
Because honestly...
The more he experienced this world, the more terrifying it became.
Mutated undead.
Unknown Acidic Cocoon.
Strange crystals.
The miniature cultivation world.
And now wall crawling monsters.
Who knew what kind of horrifying creatures would appear later?
Then slowly—
Clayne turned toward the remaining classroom doors nearby.
All of them still remained closed.
And behind them...
More zombies.
"I should clean them all up first."
Without hesitation, Clayne immediately started moving again.
Several minutes passed afterward.
One room after another gradually became silent.
Every time Clayne opened a classroom door, growling undead immediately rushed outward mindlessly, yet before they could properly react—
Snap!
Snap!
Snap!
Spiritually reinforced tile fragments instantly pierced directly through their skulls.
Some corpses collapsed immediately.
Others twitched violently while smashing against desks before finally going still.
The more rooms he cleared...
The calmer the entire floor gradually became.
Eventually—
Every single classroom became silent.
Dead silent.
Yet even after killing all the undead, Clayne still did not immediately relax.
Instead, he carefully inspected every room personally.
He opened every corner light.
Every hallway light.
Every classroom light.
The entire floor gradually brightened afterward.
Because he absolutely refused letting some half transformed zombie suddenly crawl out and bite him unexpectedly later.
So he checked everything.
Every corner.
Every desk.
Every cabinet.
Under tables.
Under chairs.
Even behind classroom podiums.
Several times, he found horrifying remains hidden beneath desks.
Half destroyed heads.
Detached limbs.
Torn flesh.
Blood soaked uniforms.
But fortunately...
No hidden undead remained alive anymore.
After confirming everything thoroughly, Clayne finally heaved a sigh of relief.
Then afterward, he started dragging desks and chairs toward the stairway.
One by one.
Again and again.
He stacked massive tables tightly together while pushing zombie corpses deeper against the stairway entrance. Soon afterward, the path downstairs became almost completely blocked due to the overwhelming number of corpses and furniture.
Still...
Clayne felt dissatisfied.
"It’s still not enough."
So he added more.
More chairs.
More desks.
More obstacles.
Until eventually, the stairway looked overcrowded completely.
Zombie corpses filled the lower portion while heavy furniture sealed the upper parts tightly.
Only then did Clayne finally stop.
Meanwhile, the classrooms themselves gradually became strangely clean afterward.
The only remaining objects scattered throughout them were abandoned school bags.
Then suddenly—
Clayne paused briefly.
"A lot of people died..."
His eyes slowly drifted toward the blood cleaned hallways.
"But my mind feels strangely calm."
He thought silently for several moments afterward.
Maybe...
It really was because of the instincts he inherited from the soul cultivator earlier.
Combat instincts.
Killing instincts.
Mental steadiness during danger.
Yet honestly...
Clayne did not think deeply about it right now.
Because survival mattered more.
Soon afterward, he returned toward the restroom and began carrying buckets of water repeatedly. Using spiritually enhanced water from the miniature world, Clayne carefully cleaned blood stains throughout the classrooms and hallway floors.
The process took quite some time.
Yet surprisingly...
The enhanced water worked unbelievably well.
Blood stains disappeared quickly.
Even the horrifying rotten smell gradually weakened afterward.
Most shocking of all—
Whenever tiny portions of the spiritually enhanced water touched zombie corpses, the foul smell leaking from them gradually stopped entirely.
It felt unbelievable.
Eventually, after finishing everything—
Clayne slowly looked throughout the floor.
Clean hallways.
Barricaded stairway.
Silent classrooms.
No undead wandering anymore.
Finally...
He felt slightly safer.
Then afterward, Clayne turned toward the scattered school bags.
Since the classrooms were already secured temporarily, he decided checking supplies next.
So he opened the bags one after another.
Inside many bags—
Lunchboxes.
Unfortunately, most already smelled rotten badly.
The moment Clayne opened several of them, he immediately frowned.
"That’s disgusting..."
Without hesitation, he gathered all rotten lunchboxes together before tossing them inside one empty classroom far away.
Meanwhile, snacks remained separated carefully.
Chips.
Biscuits.
Candies.
Packaged bread.
Some bottled drinks.
And upon seeing those—
Clayne almost felt emotional.
"...Heaven really hasn’t abandoned me completely."
Without hesitation, he immediately grabbed a large bag of chips before opening it.
Crunch.
The sound echoed lightly throughout the quiet hallway.
And honestly...
After everything that happened to him and the world recently, even eating junk food suddenly felt incredibly comforting.
Then suddenly—
An idea appeared inside his mind.
"What would happen if I put chips inside the tiny world?"
The moment that thought appeared, Clayne immediately became curious.
So without hesitation—
He carefully unfolded the miniature world again.
But the moment it fully opened—
Clayne froze completely.
Because the scenery inside had changed again.
Far away within the skies beyond the floating islands of the Silent Sword Sect...
An enormous fleet slowly advanced through the heavens.
Massive dragon bone warships floated throughout the dark skies endlessly.
Each ship looked terrifying beyond belief.
Their hulls were formed entirely from gigantic dragon skeletons refined into black demonic ships. Crimson runes glowed throughout the bones continuously while countless chains wrapped around the vessels like restraints imprisoning ancient monsters.
The front of every ship contained enormous dragon skulls with glowing red eyes. Black smoke continuously leaked from their mouths while rivers of blood flowed beneath portions of the ships.
Some ships carried enormous black flags embroidered with skull symbols.
Others dragged chained demonic beasts behind them.
Several warships even possessed giant bone cannons aimed toward the distant floating islands.
The skies behind the fleet looked horrifying.
Dark clouds stretched endlessly while crimson lightning flashed throughout them repeatedly.
Blood colored rain occasionally dripped downward from the clouds before evaporating midair into demonic Qi.
The atmosphere felt suffocating.
Terrifying.
Like a massive war was approaching.
Countless demonic cultivators stood atop the dragon bone warships while blood red robes fluttered violently beneath dark winds.
Some sharpened weapons.
Others laughed cruelly.
Several simply stared toward the distant Silent Sword Sect islands with cold killing intent.
The fleet advanced slowly.
But continuously.
Like an unstoppable tide of darkness swallowing the skies themselves.
Meanwhile, the disciples of the Silent Sword Sect still remained completely unaware.
And as Clayne silently watched the approaching fleet...
His eyes slowly widened afterward.
"What do we have here..."
A faint grin gradually appeared across his face.
"A demonic sect war fleet?"
