With Lin Jiang’s help, they made it back to the woman’s home.

The door had a fingerprint lock. As soon as it opened, a cat meowed from inside.

Lin Jiang glanced inside. It was a Ragdoll cat, and by the looks of it, an expensive one.

"Doudou, Mommy’s hurt. I can’t hold you for the next few days."

"Is it okay if I come in?"

"It’s fine. Don’t worry about your shoes, just come on in."

The woman was clearly saying this for his convenience.

Lin Jiang helped her inside. The apartment’s decor was minimalist and modern, with a living space of at least 100 square meters.

"Lin Jiang. I own Xiaojiang Noodle Shop across the street. If you come for noodles in the future, it’s my treat."

To complete his mission, Lin Jiang tried to close the distance between them.
