As we faced each other, everyone summoned their Aether to coat their bodies, on which a thin layer of bronze-colored Aether can be seen on most, but the silver assassin didn’t summon his Aether.
Then I took a deep breath and spoke in a deep voice.
"Nyx Ascension."
The next moment, my body starts growing, and all my clothes also rip apart while my hair becomes long and dark blue and my eyes turn azure blue.
Soon a twelve-foot, lean-bodied giant with his short pants appeared on the battlefield, but everyone could see night had suddenly become darker.
All the bronze-gloved assassins got stunned from this and back way a little, while the silver assassin didn’t even flinch.
Aurielle looked from the side and also got surprised because last time Luke summoned a muscular giant with golden hair.
Then everyone heard giant Luke’s low voice, "Descend, Velzareth."
CLICK CLACK CLANG.
In an instant a dark black armor with blue runes appeared behind Luke and, one by one, attached to its body.
I felt my body as now it’s fully armed, then looked toward them and said, "Now we are talking." Then I released my aura, which still belongs to the iron knight, but my suppression is around early bronze knight.
The silver assassin watched all of this with a curious expression, and finally, he uttered a word.
"An origin skill? Or something else?"
On which I paused slightly, because his voice seems rough but with static as well, and then he continued with a nonchalant voice, like I am not here at all.
"Because even God can’t give Origin skill," he finally finished, but I can feel his voice seems to hold a little bit of curiosity.
I don’t care about his talks, but he seems to be using some type of artifact, then I look around, as my knights are on high morale, while enemy peak bronze assassins are already showing signs of wariness.
Then my gaze turns toward the surroundings, as everywhere is only silence. "It looks like every beast or living being has escaped the vicinity. " I thought before turning toward Silver Assassin, who has brought out a silver sword from his spatial ring.
I tilted my head slightly after seeing this and said it in a mocking tone.
"I thought you assassins only used daggers?"
Though I didn’t expect the reply, it came.
"Don’t get cocky; you are just a useless hero."
Everyone paused and looked toward the person who is the bronze assassin, while my knights looked at him with anger, as he disrespected their master, but the other bronze assassin gave him a glare because he was the one who made the sound, and now everyone is alerted.
As he was stared at by so many eyes, he stopped his mouth that was about to open again and looked ahead because the knights had already taken their step.
---
Somewhere far, in the forest center, a few silver-strength beasts awakened from their sleep because the beasts were running back inside, while a heavy aura was already unleashed on the outside, which was on the human road.
Then each of them shook their head, because provoking those humans unnecessarily is not a good thing, and they have suffered more than once.
That’s why they return back to their sleep, though if they came toward their territory, then it would be a different matter.
---
I charged straight at the silver assassin as my body shadow rippled, and then it became three.
BANG.
Four voidfangs clashed heavily with his silver sword, but he didn’t even budge from his place.
Though surrounding trees were shaken violently, as the shockwave spread, the knights and bronze assassin also made a distance from us.
CLANG CLANG.
I didn’t stop, but I continued to exchange more and more strikes with him along with my doppelganger, but he took all four of our attacks relaxedly.
Meanwhile,
In the distance, fifteen knights clashed heavily with the bronze assassins, even though they are good at sneak attacks and weak in frontal battle, but because of their peak realm, they were able to handle it somewhat.
BANG.
Though the owl hybrid man was strong, as two peak bronze assassins were fighting him and he was still able to fight without losing his ground.
"Shadow blade."
From the side, a low voice comes, and a short black Aether blade launches toward the one assassin who was fighting the hybrid man.
"Carefull"
Other assassins shouted, and the first assassin finally saw a faint black blade that was almost hidden with the night itself was coming straight toward his head.
Clang!
He parried the shadow blade with his dagger toward the other side.
Boom!
The tree exploded the moment Shadow Blade collided with it, and some assassins turned to look toward the source but then returned their attention toward the knights.
The assassin didn’t stop after parrying; instead, he counterattacked as he launched a bronze throwing dagger toward the attacker.
Whoosh.
"Fast!" Aurielle who have attacked him sneakily now suddenly felt the wind move so fast and heard a sound of air cutting, but it was too late to dodge, so she used her shadow step ability to instantly teleport behind the tree.
Thud, thud.
The moment she appeared behind the tree, she heard two sounds of daggers being stuck at ground, where she was a moment earlier.
"Bastard," she cursed, because she can’t use her night veil skill, as everyone will become blind, and she can’t handle all the bronze knights by herself.
"Should I use my ultimate ability?" This thought just came into her mind and next moment she shook her head instantly because Abyssal Execution is strong, but she can use that ability only once, and then she will be knocked out or, worse, heavily injured.
Aurielle gritted her teeth as she looked toward the knights who keep getting injured, then toward the owl hybrid man.
"His Origin ability is good, but how long can he remain in that form?" Aurielle muttered while watching him, but the next moment she noticed that Luke was not able to do any damage toward the silver knight as well.
She got worried but still didn’t intervene in their fights.
"I have to kill these assassins first." She finally hardened her resolve, as this is the only fastest way.
She took a deep breath, as she was finally going to use her dominion ability, which she had worked on for many years.
"Even though allies will get affected, at least I will also become stronger."
As her final words finished, she raised her sword high with both hands and brought it down and planted her purple sword into the ground, and then she uttered the name that suited this ability most.
"Night Dominion"
BOOOOOOM!
Darkness erupts outward.
And the night sky becomes completely black.
A giant circular field suddenly expands around her.
"What’s happening?"
One by one, everyone got an envelope in this dark field as they cried out in alarm, while the knight also gave a wary look, but they were also unable to do anything.
Some assassin saw this from the distance and tried to move far away, but it spread very fast, and soon everyone got inside it.
Luke and Silver, the assassins, were the only ones not to get trapped, as they were far, but both of them did turn and look toward the darkness sphere, which covers nearly a 250 m radius.
