The sky split open, darkness poured down, and the world became a battlefield filled with monsters, ruined nations, and constant war. In order to survive, some humans awakened special powers called Archetypes, abilities born from the darkest parts of their souls. These people became known as Egoists, humanity’s strongest defenders against the terrifying Null Creatures.

Lucamir Elaric was supposed to be a failure.

In a world where strength is measured by how well you synchronize with the Abyss, Luca was given a pathetic score of just 5%. To the powerful noble families and the government, he was nothing more than a worthless commoner—someone meant to be used, discarded, or left to die.

But they were completely wrong.

Luca’s synchronization wasn’t low at all. It was perfect. A once-in-thousands-of-years anomaly that the system simply couldn’t understand. What it marked as an error was actually something unprecedented: 100% synchronization.

While others risk losing their minds to the Abyss, Luca is completely immune to its corruption. While most Egoists can only wield one Archetype, he can command all seven.

Now hunted, feared, and manipulated by forces far beyond his control, Luca has no interest in playing by the world’s rules. He doesn’t want to rise through the ranks.

He wants to break the system entirely.
