When Ring suddenly gains awareness, he realizes something impossible—he’s living inside a novel.

Not as the hero, the villain, or even an important side character. He’s just a background extra, someone who was never meant to matter. But Ring quickly discovers one thing: if he can make it to the end of the story, he might be able to return to the real world.

There’s just one problem.

The story isn’t fixed.

A mysterious floating window keeps appearing before him, showing chapters of the novel as they unfold. Sometimes it reveals future events. Sometimes it shows scenes that haven’t even been fully written yet, like a rough draft still in progress. That means the world around him is constantly changing, and nothing is as certain as it should be.

To survive, Ring will need to navigate a story that is literally being written as he lives it. In a world where even the plot can change without warning, being a background character may be far more dangerous than it sounds.
